Description: Located on a working harbor with a great view of vessels going up and down...
Located on a working harbor with a great view of vessels going up and down the channel and dolphins frolicking in the bay. The best seafood and view of the sunset in Galveston. We offer private dining for between 10 and 300, and have accommodated many large functions such as the Commemoration of the USS Fort Worth, many weddings, bachelorette parties and rehearsal dinners. We are also within easy walking distance of the Strand on Pier 21.

We visit Galveston often and this time decided to try some place other than seafood and to be honest I was worried. It was a Monday night, so they were not busy and we sat outside near the water. The tables were nice and all the waitstaff was dressed nice. Our waiter was a hoot, he slightly reminded me of... More

The food is overpriced and a little mix of everything. My family is Greek and we are not very impressed with their Greek offerings. But if you sit by the water, chances are you will see some dolphins. This option sure bet paying $15 per person to join the dolphis watching cruise..

This nicely situated waterfront restaurant was a real find. Our waiter says the place is owned by two Greek brothers which explained the great blend of Mediterranean and Gulf Coast on the menu. Our party of four was promptly seated and our waiter was on the top of his game. He was knowledgeable about the menu offerings and was very... More

Keeping in mind that Galveston Island is largely a tourist area. Our taxi took us from one side of the island to The Strand on the other side for 15 dollars. We walked the main street with all eclectic shops. There was nothing that we needed to purchase before the cruise but it was enjoyable. Being “Off Season”, Almost all... More

We ate outside and it was just a little windy; my 89 yr old mother in law asked for a jacket and they gave her a beautiful sweater that they told her she could have...above and beyond taking care of a customer! There were six of us in our party; didn't have a long wait, even though it was Sunday... More

Ordered the avocado shrimp cocktail. It was initially served with our any avocado, however the waiter rushed back to the kitchen and it was added. The shrimp were fresh, but the cocktail sauce was canned and tasted like Pace Picante sauce with some fresh tomatoes and onions added. Very disappointing as it overpowered the fresh shrimp. The greek salad was... More

We ate here the night before our cruise. They worked with me to make my dinner gluten free. Our waiter was great, food just so-so. We had a belly dancer come thru which was fun.

Well as we sitting waiting for our order and almost demanding for our drink refills I wonder what awaits us. Our server has given us all the reasons why she is tired but so am I. Wow. Doubt we return unless something magical happens. Very disappointed in tonights delivery but it's really not looking good.

I don't know why, but this Olympia Grill's food is better than the one on the Seawall. AND it has a great view and ambience about it. I still wouldn't rate it as top-notch Greek food, but it's one of the better restaurants on that stretch of the bay. They also make pretty good drinks!
