On a recommendation from other diners, I had the wasabi-seaweed topped scallops and an appetizer of ultra-fresh gulf coast shrimp. Delicious! My husband enjoyed his fresh fish tacos, and we both had nice glasses of citrusy Greek wine. Oscar was an attentive and gracious server throughout the meal. Baklava and Greek salad were tasty as well. An excellent choice for... More

Excellent Greek-inspired food, and the waitress made an extra effort to make sure the gluten free diner got what he needed. The restaurant is right on the edge of the water and the view is spectacular at sunset. The next day we returned to find missing sunglasses and the staff was extremely helpful. A great experience overall.

We ate lunch here on the recommendation of the tour guide from the Cool Tours bus. On a crowded Saturday afternoon, we were seated fairly quickly and the service was fast and friendly. The lump crab with mangos and avocados was to die for ( I think it was on the appetizer menu) and was very filling as an entree.... More

I was in town to watch my oldest son play Rugby. After their big win on Saturday, we went to dinner to celebrate. Pier 21 is a very attractive, well situated property with a terrific view of the harbor. Since the restaurant is located on the water, I was predisposed for a seafood meal. I ordered the Scallops on the... More

After reading the reviews, we decided to go. The food seemed pre-prepared, or out of a can, not fresh. Very heavy, not good. We were so disappointed, and it's not cheap.

Wanted fried oysters but they had none. The crab cakes were a great substitute - along with a Greek salad. The table on the water with the view of the ship channel makes it.

Hard to beat a visti to Pier 21 and a cold one at Olympia for viewing the harbor, the boats, the dollphins and the people. Live music often present which has its plusses and minuses. Appetizers are average but the food is better than average for Galveston. Take a group of friends, sit outside and watch what Galveston is today... More

We had horrible service, didn't get our salads or appetizers we ordered. Our seafood platters were cold, plus my plate was missing food and had cocktail sauce spilled all over the plate. I was told by the manager that the waiter almost dropped my plate when he brought me the tartar sauce that had fallen off. We expressed our concerns to... More

We visited on a Monday evening. Very Quiet, excellent service. We had Gumbo and shrimp entrees, both were excellent. We ate on the porch, which is right on the shipping channel with great views of the ships silently slipping along. Nice spot. Would revisit.

Outdoor seating overlooking the water is available. We sat inside and had a limited view of the water because we were too hungry to wait for an outside seat. Seared tuna appetizer was excellent, hubby says it was even made better with his martini. Watch out for the wasabi. Entrees were good sized portions and very tasty. Servers were friendly... More
