I thought the food was tasty, but not real special. The atmosphere on the bay and the friendly service made up for that. I continue to go back because I just like the small town, coastal feel of eating outside, on the bay. If you're looking for fancy, this is not your place. If you're looking for comfortable, you'll enjoy.

The atmosphere and view was nice. The restaurant is being remodeled looks like a huge improvement. The waitress was great and very understanding that I had 3 small, whiny, hungry children...I didn't ask but I'm sure she did something to hurry it along...our food was out rather quickly. Fries were great....my blackened fish was cooked fine....Kids meal Chicken tenders were... More

We had a very poor experience at this restaurant. For a Monday evening, and almost empty restaurant, they were over staffed with mostly young employees who were less concerned with customer satisfaction than with idle chatter. We waited an extremely long time before being acknowledged or seated. When we got our food it was overcooked and cold. Our server was... More

We will NEVER recommend and will NEVER be back. Location and NEW construction additions give it potential. Hard to locate. Staff, food, lack of customer service will sink this business ship SOON if not changed. Only positive was cool breeze. Ridiculous wait for table in hot stuffy room, too many staff that could not be bothered or only responsible for... More

Do not eat here the food was horrible service was bad way overpriced! Restaurant under construction complete disaster. My family stopped here for dinner. My husband and son ordered hoagie sandwiches, I had crab cakes. The bill was $67. This place relies on tourist! This is a tourist trap!

Do not order the "crab cakes". They are mostly celery and not diced celery, but celery chunks. I did find 1 bite of crab in 1 of the "crab cakes". Otherwise it was all filler and celery. Plus my order came out with the wrong side and had to wait for them to scrape the asparagus off my plate and... More

Walking distance to Lighthouse Inn. Lots of variety. The brisket tacos were great, as well as shrimp wrapped bacon. Great watermelon margaritas.

We eat here all the time and nothing is ever the same. It will be fabulous one time and then the next time nothing is right. On our recent visit they were hammering the whole time on a Sunday afternoon. The Moon Dog burger is our favorite, if the supplier had delivered the meat that week. Beer is not always... More

Location of the Moon Dog is excellent. It's right by the water and it offers inside and outside eating. This is not a fancy upscale restaurant. If you're looking for that then you should go somewhere else. The Moon Dog Seaside Eatery is a simple place for people enjoying a superb indoor/outdoor location, great views, good food, and adventurous path... More

The food was good and our well-meaning waiter tried to be accommodating. The service, not the food timing, was slow. The location, near a shrimp boat harbor, had a delightful atmosphere. We even spotted a dolphin.
