Big Flavor with Small Town Charm

Small town grocery store carries the basic necessities. The meat market has a fresh supply of good looking meats, sausages, and jerky at fair market prices. And then there's the restaurant portion of the store... About 16 tables (a mix of booths and red-and-white check tablecloth covered... read more

Dozier's was worth the drive before I lived in Fulshear. If you want tender smoked brisket, sausage, ribs, chicken or turkey with homemade sauce and delicious sides them give this place a try. You're not going to pay extra because they're not in a fancy location with fancy plates and cups with logos painted on them. You can pay the... More

Have eaten here a lot of times but it was over ten years ago. Visited Feb 2015 and it is still a good BBQ place. Still a very busy place with a lots of good BBQ. Not a fancy place but very good (brisket, sausage) the ribs are OK but not up to the standards of the brisket and sausage.... More

I will have to disagree with the majority of the reviewers, although I understand that Dozier’s brisket and sausage are among the best you can eat in the Houston area. Their ribs, though, do not deserve, in my opinion, the same rank as the other two. Every time I have tried them (until I finally gave up), I found them... More

This a wonderful place that has been here for years. Greaat brisket and even better ribs. Smoked turkey is also very good. The baked potato salad is not to be missed. And they have old times root beer in bottles. Meat market also good. We always pick up peppered bacon and pinwheel steaks.

Great friendly, casual place for lunch after a Sunday morning ride. Best BBQ around. Not a fancy place but great food. Love their BBQ sauce.

Grab your sandwich which is served to you in a brown paper sack, find a spot at the picnic table sit down and savor every bite.. Dozier's is the real deal BARBEQUE PLACE ....I ALWAYS make it in... I have been buying my BBQ from Dozier's for years. They have the best ribs in the Houston area. Although it is a drive from Houston, it is worth it. Also, if you like to hunt deer, they process the meat better than anyone else in the area.

We visited the BBQ joint for lunch and loved the turkey BBQ sandwich and ice tea. It's a simple, no-nonsense country place that serves staples like turkey and beef BBQ sandwiches, homemade pie, ice tea and corn. I enjoyed fixing my sandwich up with onions, relish, lettuce and pickled jalapeños from the self-serve bar. A glass of ice tea went... More
