Really good Mexican restaurant which is in between fast food and sit down. Everything was very fresh and flavorful.

We used to love this place! Excellent range of really tasty tacos, well-made and good value for money. A bustling but pleasant place that had a real 'buzz' about it. But this last time we were very disappointed. Very few people in - and it soon became obvious why.
Their #6 BBQ Pork Special has usually been a great option...

I'm not a huge tex-mex fan, but Tin Star still has some cheeseburger tacos for me. I really like their fries. My friends love the complimentary salsa bar in the back. One of my friends says the corn salsa is amazing. Prompt service and tasty food.
Okay so one of my favorite things about this place is that kids eat free at dinner on Sundays and Wednesdays. You can't beat that! I have had almost all of their tacos and have never been disappointed. All of the tex-mex food here is pretty darn tastey. My father ordered the chicken fried steak once and wasn't thrilled with...

Variety of creative tacos. We tried 4 different ones. The one with sweet potato strings was our favorite. Don't bother with the guacamole. It was okay but too bland for us.
Delicious, fresh-brewed iced tea. Sometimes I go there just for that. Corn salsa is so good I want to eat by the spoonful.
I heard a lot of good things about Tin Star before finally making the trek there. I was not impressed with the chips and salsa or the burritos. Everything tasted very average to all of the Mexican food I have eaten here in Texas. Between Tin Star and Chipotle, when it comes to fast food, I would go with Chipotle...

My 9-year-old daughter and I visited friends who had recently relocated to Frisco. On one busy shopping day we found ourselves starving. We didn't want to take time to sit down at a full-service restaurant, but we also didn't want to suffer through a fast-food meal. Our two daughters are only moderately adventurous eaters and my girlfriend and I tend...
