Description: Step into the relaxed sophistication of an authentic Parisian bistro and sidewalk cafe. Bonnie Ruth’s Café Trottoir et Patisserie pays homage to the classic 'French Bistro'. Dine on Steak Frites, Moules Marnière, and Duck Leg Confit. Sip a classic cocktail at our Belle Époque style bar. Join us for Sunday Brunch and eggs benedict on the patio near the fire place, handmade blueberry cream cheese crepes under the rotunda by the fountain or an omelet with a mimosa in the sun. "The vibe is undeniably French A starter of moules Marnière was served in a daunting cast-iron skillet, where dozens of plump Prince Edward Island mussels lay tumbled in a bath of butter, garlic, white wine and lemon juice. The seafood was fresh and firm, just barely infused with the essence of the fragrant broth that surrounded it. Another stunning entree was the skate Grenobloise."

Normally a good place to enjoy good food. A special Easter brunch shouldn't have been any different. Sadly, the food was cold, the waffle iron wasn't working, the selection for 9 am was mostly lunch food, and the choices were basic. All of this for $45 each! Very disappointing. Scratch this off of my special place to go.

Went here with my wife for lunch, expecting something that resembles French bistro food. Could not discern much of anything French here; perhaps the onion soup... Just another theme restaurant without any substance or authenticity.

Enjoyed a dinner here on a Sunday night with a colleague who recommended this place. The escargot was divine-- I had never had it with sun dried tomatoes before but it was quite good. The Chicken Paillard was scrumptious, the only thing I didn't lick off the plate were the mashed potatoes, they were fine, I'm just not a big... More

We were so unhappy with our lunch. Our onion soup had a partially melted square of cheese on it. My escargot were lukewarm and tasteless. My husband had the mussels in wine sauce which he said was "adequate." We are not planning to go back.

Their gorgeous patio is the best place to spend a warm afternoon sipping a glass of wine and pretending you are somewhere in Italy. The food and service are always outstanding. My favorite dishes are the Nicoise Salad, the Chicken Penne Pasta, and the Chicken Paillard. But the real temptation is the to-die-for Blueberry Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Friends had recommend this cafe for Sunday Brunch. We must agree that it was a very nice brunch for a good value. There was a good assortment of choices, an omelet bar and lots of pastries. Our server ensured that we experienced all that was offered and kept our drinks filled. Certainly will be returning.

Great for something different. The menue is diverse and each dish has attention to detail. Service is a bit French. Meaning they expect you to take your time and enjoy the food an a drink or two. If your in a hurry you must let the staff know.

nothing to write about. our waiter was excellent and well versed in the food as listed on the menu, and was very efficient.. our martini tasted like a fruit drink without vodka, probably because we were given the happy hour price. escargot was good, not exceptional. we had the shrimp and lobster crepes, which were pricey for what you got,... One of the more disappointing restaurant trips. After some great brunches, tried dinner. Not sure if owners are absent for holidays, etc but virtually everything was average to poor. Escargots tasted like they had been warmed over several times-dry, tough, tasteless. Steak was overdone, tough, and tasteless. Mashed potatoes seemed like they were from instant box. With all the good... More

Service is ok. Rations are small and pricy. Desserts were good and several to choose from. Drinks are pricy like most bar places. Its a neat hang out but needs to have more vsriety of appetizers.
