Description: Step into the relaxed sophistication of an authentic Parisian bistro and sidewalk cafe. Bonnie Ruth’s Café Trottoir et Patisserie pays homage to the classic 'French Bistro'. Dine on Steak Frites, Moules Marnière, and Duck Leg Confit. Sip a classic cocktail at our Belle Époque style bar. Join us for Sunday Brunch and eggs benedict on the patio near the fire place, handmade blueberry cream cheese crepes under the rotunda by the fountain or an omelet with a mimosa in the sun. "The vibe is undeniably French A starter of moules Marnière was served in a daunting cast-iron skillet, where dozens of plump Prince Edward Island mussels lay tumbled in a bath of butter, garlic, white wine and lemon juice. The seafood was fresh and firm, just barely infused with the essence of the fragrant broth that surrounded it. Another stunning entree was the skate Grenobloise."

I was a little hesitant to visit this restaurant because there have been a few negative reviews here recently, but I'm really glad I gave it a chance! Everything that we had was very good, the Eggs Benedict were awesome! Our server was polite and attentive, but the girl that cleared the table was amazing! She was very on top... More

Working in sales, I have the opportunity to have business lunches and dinners all over the DFW area. On the night I dined at Bonnie Ruth's, it was just me and my wife. She had been several times and really enjoyed it. I honestly do not recall a worst dining experience. I ordered a simple California Burger, cooked medium. It... More

This is by far the best brunch we have found in town. The service is always great. Make sure and ask for the eggs benedict.

We went here on our 21st anniversary and could not have been more pleased. Requested a table on the patio and we given a cozy corner. Wait staff was unhurried and encouraged us to slow down and take our time. Enjoyed the cheese platter as an appetizer with some signature "old school" cocktails from their cocktail menu. A sidecar and... More

We had reservations for the Sunday Brunch and were seated immediately. The food was delicious--as good as any I have had anywhere. The eggs benedict was ordered from our server and was so creamy. There was an omelet station and my friends said they were delicious. Wonderful pasta and a corn dish so good. The desserts was beautiful and delicious.... More

We made reservations for Easter brunch. Our reservation was for 1pm. We actually arrived pretty early and were seated right away. Service was great. I was never without an empty drink. I also ordered the eggs benedict, which came from the kitchen not the buffet and didn't have much of a wait for that either. The buffet consisted of a... More

Normally a good place to enjoy good food. A special Easter brunch shouldn't have been any different. Sadly, the food was cold, the waffle iron wasn't working, the selection for 9 am was mostly lunch food, and the choices were basic. All of this for $45 each! Very disappointing. Scratch this off of my special place to go.

Went here with my wife for lunch, expecting something that resembles French bistro food. Could not discern much of anything French here; perhaps the onion soup... Just another theme restaurant without any substance or authenticity.

Enjoyed a dinner here on a Sunday night with a colleague who recommended this place. The escargot was divine-- I had never had it with sun dried tomatoes before but it was quite good. The Chicken Paillard was scrumptious, the only thing I didn't lick off the plate were the mashed potatoes, they were fine, I'm just not a big... More

We were so unhappy with our lunch. Our onion soup had a partially melted square of cheese on it. My escargot were lukewarm and tasteless. My husband had the mussels in wine sauce which he said was "adequate." We are not planning to go back.
