Step into the relaxed sophistication of an authentic Parisian bistro and sidewalk cafe. Bonnie Ruth’s Café Trottoir et Patisserie pays homage to the classic 'French Bistro'. Dine on Steak Frites, Moules Marnière, and Duck Leg Confit. Sip a classic cocktail at our Belle Époque style bar. Join us for Sunday Brunch and eggs benedict on the patio near the fire place, handmade blueberry cream cheese crepes under the rotunda by the fountain or an omelet with a mimosa in the sun. "The vibe is undeniably French A starter of moules Marnière was served in a daunting cast-iron skillet, where dozens of plump Prince Edward Island mussels lay tumbled in a bath of butter, garlic, white wine and lemon juice. The seafood was fresh and firm, just barely infused with the essence of the fragrant broth that surrounded it. Another stunning entree was the skate Grenobloise."

Great menu

Love the variety of items. Although it seems like a place women prefer, the evenings are better designed to suit most men. The selection of salad plates is terrific. Sandwiches and flatbread pizzas are tasty. Desserts are out of this world. With a stop for coffee and dessert any day. Hidden in same... read more

This restaurant has never let us down. We have never had a less than wonderful meal. If you can, sit outside. It's a nice patio and the inside can be kind of noisy. The menu has great selections. I always get the seafood crepe - it is OUTSTANDING! I know I should try other things, but you will not find... More

Like this place alot. The food is french and most excellent. Little pricey, but the desserts are worth it. Recommend their cakes. They also have a nice patio area for outdoor dining, which is usually full.

My girlfriends and I usually lunch at Bonnie Ruth's once a month. Its a neat little café with fantastic desserts! The parking lot is a bit hectic, but there is always plenty of seating indoors and out on the patio. The servers are always prompt and friendly, taking your drink order and bringing fresh warm bread to nibble on while... More

We visited Bonnie Ruth's for our anniversary. I was worried at first because it took a while to get our first drinks however, everything turned around and it was fab. Martinis were excellent and on special, always a plus. We had the mussels appetizer quite by mistake since I didn't know if I would like them. They were wonderful. Service... More

Great friend place. Outside dining with large space heaters. Variety menu Pizzas, salads, seafood, and more. Like Wednesday's-all the mussels, salad, and bread for $11. Creme bulee is awesome.

We had been to dinner at the nearby Tupy's,and were so full, but we were curious about this retstaurant. It looks like it would be a good place for coffee, lunch, a romantic conversation, or dinner. We couldn't resist getting a carrot cake cupcake,"for later". Later was about an hour later, as I had to try a bite. Delicious; moist,... More

Properly prepared mussels are hard to find in the Frisco area. We love the mussel pots at Bonnie Ruth's and the prices are very reasonable. Their service is good most of the time. We have also eaten at their Sunday Brunch buffet. They include several of their specialties and the buffet is well worth the price.

Visited at lunch on a weekday for the first time. I chose the lunch special for $8.95. Soup and sandwich. The potato soup came in a crock that was more than a cup and the sandwich was a full croissant sandwich. Both very good! I thought the value was excellent. We will return for dinner!
