Step into the relaxed sophistication of an authentic Parisian bistro and sidewalk cafe. Bonnie Ruth’s Café Trottoir et Patisserie pays homage to the classic 'French Bistro'. Dine on Steak Frites, Moules Marnière, and Duck Leg Confit. Sip a classic cocktail at our Belle Époque style bar. Join us for Sunday Brunch and eggs benedict on the patio near the fire place, handmade blueberry cream cheese crepes under the rotunda by the fountain or an omelet with a mimosa in the sun. "The vibe is undeniably French A starter of moules Marnière was served in a daunting cast-iron skillet, where dozens of plump Prince Edward Island mussels lay tumbled in a bath of butter, garlic, white wine and lemon juice. The seafood was fresh and firm, just barely infused with the essence of the fragrant broth that surrounded it. Another stunning entree was the skate Grenobloise."

This restaurant tries very hard to be French and is getting close to the real deal. Their patisserie is excellent for example and the creme brulee I had came also close to one I once had in Paris. Of course Frisco is not Paris, oh well. On Monday evening they offer bar food which is a selection of their standard... More

I eat here often and am always pleased. I love the Steak Frites and rarely order anything however my wife is always pleased with the other menu items. They have a great Sunday brunch with many fine fares.

Food was wonderful but the deserts were just fantastic looking and OMG tasted like a bit of heaven. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area!

My husband and I have dined at Bonnie Ruth's at least 20 times.....and have never been disappointed. Our favorite time is 4:00 p.m. during the week when good weather beckons. The patio is shielded in between buildings, and is filled with plants, cooled by fans and shaded with umbrellas (just in case).....cozy and intimate. We've tried many dishes (sandwiches, pizzas... We were in town visiting and went here for Fathers Day Brunch. Best food selection, the Eggs benedict were #1, well tied with the Mussels. I had their chicken salad, also, it was a perfect blend of spices. Can't wait to go visit again I will be going here first thing. Thanks

My husband and I discovered this place a few months ago. Since then we have been back three times. The food is fresh and wonderful. They do a really good job with their menu, their service, and the food itself. We highly recommend a visit to Bonnie Ruth's for a great lunch or dinner. Their outside patio is wonderful too.

I almost don't want to share this secret, but this has got to be the best place in Frisco for Sunday brunch. The all-you-can eat buffet menu changes but the dishes are always delicious.

My family and I have brunch here almost every Sunday. It's a buffet, and they have something for everyone. They have the chicken fingers and French fries for the little kids and then they have omelets, shrimp, chicken, etc. for the adults. They have a great mix of breakfast/lunch- French toast, crepes in addition to the savory items- and dessert... More
