Step into the relaxed sophistication of an authentic Parisian bistro and sidewalk cafe. Bonnie Ruth’s Café Trottoir et Patisserie pays homage to the classic 'French Bistro'. Dine on Steak Frites, Moules Marnière, and Duck Leg Confit. Sip a classic cocktail at our Belle Époque style bar. Join us for Sunday Brunch and eggs benedict on the patio near the fire place, handmade blueberry cream cheese crepes under the rotunda by the fountain or an omelet with a mimosa in the sun.

"The vibe is undeniably French A starter of moules Marnière was served in a daunting cast-iron skillet, where dozens of plump Prince Edward Island mussels lay tumbled in a bath of butter, garlic, white wine and lemon juice. The seafood was fresh and firm, just barely infused with the essence of the fragrant broth that surrounded it. Another stunning entree was the skate Grenobloise."

Really great food.

This was our second visit and have been impressed both times. We were here for dinner with another couple and the food is excellent. We have noticed, from other reviews, that the bakery is great but did not try it. The Pasta dish that we ordered was excellent and very tasty.

Pleasant experience, went there on Fat Tuesday, busy, great place for food and drinks. Had to wait for a table, but staff are very friendly, came to check on us and seated us in a quiet corner. There is a buffet with shrimp cocktails, clams, gumbo, rice and beans, we had a buffet and steak and frites, which was delicious.... More

Very nice menu, reasonable prices, what a great find! The onion soup was the best I ever had, and I'm old! There are a nice selection of entrees that rivaled the desserts! The food is very good. The desserts are made onsite with real and fresh ingredients. The creme brulee was exquisite and the carrot cake, all made onsite, was... More

Lots to like about this place. One of my favorite brunch places in the area. Buffet style with a French influence. When the weather is nice the patio will be packed with people enjoying the scene and mimosas. Dinner here is good too. The French dishes are different than other burger, chicken and steak places around.

It's an ok restaurant if you just need a standby. It's pretty consistent but never great. Nice patio seating and is a better choice for lunch than dinner.

Last Sunday my family and I visited this cute and cozy restaurant in Frisco. After waiting for a long period of time which was acceptable (almost 30 min), we got our table. unfortunately the service or better say our server was not really happy to be there on Sunday, at lease that is how we felt as same as another... We visit this place all year long. It is great for Happy Hour but we decided not to cook for New Year and go for brunch. The food and waiter were great.

Went after Sunday shopping just before Christmas. Quiet sat in front area. Cheerfully greeted and efficiently served by Joe. Split a salad had some vino. I had Mussels P rovencale nicely cooked . Wife tender and tasty Steak and Frites. Nice setting. Took Red Velvet cake to go. Wonderful dinner and service attentive without being intrusive. One of our favorite... More

This is a great spot for weekend brunch. During the week it's also perfect for a girls night out. The quality and diversity of the French inspired dishes and pastries leave you with a great dining experience. They also have rat pack nights where you can enjoy a good martini and enjoy some good music. Parking can be difficult.

Bonnie Ruth's offers excellent American fare with great steaks but their Sunday brunch is a wonderful buffet with a wide variety to please everyone. But the star of Bonnie Ruth's show is the bakery. The cakes are divine but best of all, the cake dough is used to make cupcakes, which I recommend heartily. My favorite is the carrot cake... More
