The first time my cousin pulled up to the gas station to take us for dinner I thought he was out of his mind. Turns out, it was one of the best bbq joints I've eaten at to this day. At Rudy's you skip the bells and whistles and get right down to the good stuff - the food. This... More

We ate here after an event at the Toyota stadium next door. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from 'gas station bbq' but I was pleasantly surprised and I couldn't believe how reasonably priced it was. I know some BBQ places one person can't even get out for $20 and two of us ate a ton for only $22.00.... More

The barbeque is always good from location to location. Their sauce is my favorite and though I am not a big creamed corn guy, their creamed corn is the best in the world!

This is a must stop at restaurant for my family anytime we are in Texas! I love sausage and to me the jalapeño sausage is amazing! The only comment I have is that this time when we got our food it was all very cold :(.

Stopped in at Rudys for lunch during a rain storm as they have covered gas pumps. I always enjoy eating here and usually eat lunch on Sundays as we head back to Texarkana, AR. Casual dinning and great variety of barbeque. It was pouring down rain when we arrived and I dropped of the family under the covered gas pumps... More

First time I saw Rudy's I snickered as I noticed their gas station / barbecue business model. Seriously? Yes, very serious. I am now addicted to both the brisket and turkey sandwiches. My only salvation, I only travel to Frisco once a month. Otherwise, I might move in. Their meats, sides and epic beer/soda trough all add to the legend.... More

I had heard about Rudy's for a very long time. The pulled pork sandwich did not disappoint me. It was tender and juicy and did not need any sauce. That is good because the sauce was not very good, neither was the beans nor the the cold slaw. You go there for the barbecue but the sides be.

Breakfast tacos are to die for...ask for spicy chop! Sauce it up or eat plain...great both ways! They have a good selection of sodas and beers.

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. You order at the counter by the pound and your sides are purchased separately. .all this is simply placed on a piece of paper which I loved! I chose the smoked turkey and wow was it fantastic! Hubby ate ribs and brisket which he said were cooked perfectly. This is a very... More

I have eaten a lot of BBQ and there are a lot of great places in TX - but I was really surprised how good this place was. Had the links and chicken and was blown away - the chicken was exceptional and will make this a regular stop when up this way. Would highly recommend you stop and try... More
