I've been to BBQ all over the country and Rudy's is one of the best (outside of home cooked BBQ). The meat quality is outstanding and you can't argue with the value you get. You know it has to be great food if they sell it by the pound. The lean brisket is a hit, but not as flavorful as... More

Visited with a friend right after lunch time on a week day. Tried their baby back ribs and lean brisket. Both came with decent flavor but does not match the original store near Austin. Decent ambience and options like various forms of beer. Would visit again but the offering need to meet the quality of the original for more repeated... More

Having come over to good ol' Dallas, Texas. I heard good things about Rudy's and insisted that my step-sister give me a taste of bonafide Texas BBQ. She took me to Rudy's in Frisco (my father lives in Garland) and I was hooked. Set in a Gas (we call it Petrol) station, the place had 100% genuine country store feel.... More

Gas station and food - good as it gets. Meat hot and tender / they serve it in a plastic holder tea is great! Clean and neat. Folks are nice as well - well be back! Mark

Loved the brisket and the pulled pork. Family style food in a relaxing atmosphere. No real wait service, and the whole deal is downplayed everything. LIKED IT

We ate at a Rudy's in Colorado Springs a few years ago and it was amazing! This place is set up exactly the same but isn't quite as good. The meat was very good, but the sides were lacking. When you add sides, drinks etc to your meat, it's pretty darn expensive! No kids menu so eating w/ kids really... More

My wife and I both had the pulled pork sandwich, and it was not good food. We both had that fast food queasiness half way through the sandwich and had to stop eating.

We ate until we were stuffed here. Plenty of food. I was told to try the green Chile stew and it was excellent. The family tried many different meats and everyone was happy. The sauces were great and the little bar for additional items was great.

Rudy's BBQ is my favorite because it's moist and tasty. Also they don't add the BBQ sauce, but rather let you do that yourself so that you can add as much as you like with heat or without. My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich. They toast the bun and then they pile on the pork. Oh and don't forget... More

We always eat at Rudy's when in Texas. It is consistently delicious. The brisket is tasty, as is everything else on the menu. You order sandwiches or meat by the pound and they give you a loaf of wheat or white bread to make your own sandwiches. Buy some Rudy's rub to take home. We use it all the time... More
