Stopped by last evening and were among the last to be served before closing. As such the wait staff (no bus boys ) seemed to be concentrating on clean up. One waitress was using a dustbin so near that was so annoying we had to ask her to stop. She moved to the far end and the noise was still... More

A girls trip landed us in the quaint town of Frisco TX where we chose to eat lunch @ Babes. No worry about reading the menu, there are 5 meat choices: 1/2 a fried chicken, chicken fried steak, chicken tenders, roasted chicken or fried fish. All brought to the table piled together on a platter & served family style. Oh,... More

We loved this place! All of your favorite comfort food sides with what else, but fried chicken! Fish and chicken fried steak, too, but you've got to get the chicken! Unlimited sides served family style were great, and the biscuits were those "like my mama used to make!" We went with our children, and it's definitely a family friendly place.... More

Babes has great fried chicken, but because it is billed as a family restaurant there are tons of kids. That would not be bad, but most of the parents think their children are especially cute even when they run around the place screaming and yelling. If you go ask your server to seat you away from any large families with... More

If you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner, Do Not go to Babes. If you are looking for a fun inexpensive dinner and love fried food, this is the place for you. All 5 meat choices taste great and the biscuits and salad are great to accompany the meat. The 3 sides are a little bland, but perfect for... More

There isn't anything about Babe's to dislike. GO GUNGRY, and go home stuffed. Best Chicken Fried Steak I've ever had, bar none, and their catfish dinner …. there are no words. Mashed potatoes and gravy to die for, and let me tell you one more thing. I don't even like creamed corn. But I will kill any human being who... More

My husband & I kept hearing about Babe's so we thought we would check it out! So glad we did!! Food is served family style. You pick your meat...our favorite was the chicken tenders...then you get all you can eat sides. You may take your meat home but not the side dishes. The biscuits are really good! If you like... More

We were a group of 13, following high school graduation. The waitress was quite efficient and kept our food coming. The fried chicken and smoked chicken were both very good. However, the sides are bland - mashed potatoes, green beans and creamed corn. Biscuits and salad were good. You have a choice of the above chickens or chicken fried steak,... More

Recently went with a group of 8 to Babe's in Frisco. Went on a Wednesday night at 7:30 and there was still a wait. (Not too long). Got seated and our server was very attentive and nice. It's a BYOB place which was great for us. The setting is rustic with plenty of room for waiting outside with misters and... More

Babe's started out in Roanoke, TX, but they have a few locations around the area. This review is for the Frisco location, but it applies to them all. Babes is a home cooking style restaurant, and it's the best of its kind around. The only thing you have to order is your meat. You can choose from fried chicken, smoked... More
