Great place to go for a pint post soccer match

I was in town with my husband and friends to watch a soccer match at Toyota Stadium. That being said, after the game we were hungry and wanted to hang out for a bit so we ended up at the Londoner. The place was packed, the atmosphere was great. The decor reminded me of some of the pubs I... read more

Good location in Frisco Old Town next to Soccer Stadium. Nice English-bar feel inside, two-story and outdoor patios. Considered a sport-watching bar yet video technology really needs an update. Good beer choices, food is typical English quality. I've been many times and at best the service is so-so. Went in yesterday at 6pm (not crowded at all) sat at far... More

Pros: many brew choices, lots of tvs for viewing sports, very English pub-like Cons: Entering the door through the smoking section out front-they need to move it to the back patio by the tollway, busy, servers are either hit or miss

This is all my opinion. I feel that the price for what is offered at the Londoner is a bit much. The service is awful and I have walk out on several occasions. The food is not accurate. The Sheppard’s pie has very few veggies and flavor to boot. The beer is expensive, but is good. On dead nights when... More

We are in the area frequently and this is a great lunch time stop when you don't want fast food, but want casual. I love their Rueben sandwich. They also have good soups and salads. Wait staff is normally friendly and food comes out quickly & fresh. They have a good selection of beers. This is a great place to... More

Having actually been in English pubs(yes over in England) and missing good fish and chip we thought we would give them a try after my sons soccer game. What a disappointment. The serve took 15 min to acknowledge us (not busy at 1 in the afternoon), couldn't remember what they had on tap, and forgot to bring out my husbands... More

This place is geared towards football - not NFL mind you - the other football. Proper football as the Europeans would say. Everything about the place screams English pub and the crowds during a match only increase the sensation. Great place for a pint and UK fare.

My wife & I stopped here before a football game. She found a hard cider she liked, and I had 2 pints of Belhaven. That alone was worth the trip - I haven't seen that Scottish beer in over 10 years. Wish we had it closer to home. The chicken tikka masala was good and served in a big bowl.... More

My daughter took me here for my Christmas present. I made a good choice here. My daughter ordered the ribeye steak which came with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. The ribeye was very tender and tasty. The brussel sprouts were great and the potatoes were also good. My husband chose the cheeseburger with fries. The burger was good and he... More
