Need to Check It Out (if you have not already)

Limited but very good beer choices. EXCELLENT margarita pizza. They pepper it up to add that kick. I wish it had more basil. The one thing you don't see on the menu and if you're a frequent customer, you should ask for the goat cheese with pita appetizer. Very very good. The goat cheese comes on... read more

I'm in love with this restaurant. A short drive from Ikea right off the Dallas Tollway, this place is my new favorite. They have several flavors of mimosas including a blood orange one. The naked avocado salad and the steak and hash were fabulous. If I hadn't had a long drive ahead of me, I could have stayed there all... More

TruFire offers tasty, well prepared dishes with a flare that separates them from their competition. I recommend the Tri-cheese Pizza (trying adding pepperoni); Caesar's Tru Salad; Tru Mac; and the Shrimp and Crab Pot Pie. Of course the steak and steak sandwiches are excellent--this is Texas.

A catch up with friends led me to this neighborhood spot. While not 5 star gourmet, the food was good, service on the mark, and the décor relaxed and inviting. We started with a flat bread tasting plate - something to share and snack on while we had a chance to chat some, and look at the menu. It was... More

We hit TruFire at 5:30 on a Saturday and it was packed. The environment is warm and inviting. There is a special little happy hour menu that has a couple of flat breads, meatballs, and a cheese plate. We ordered one of everything. The meatballs were excellent. The flatbreads were quite tasty too. The cheese plate was on the slim... More

This is a review of the past few times we have ordered carry out at TruFire. The staff was fine, but they don't keep your food under a heat lamp or anything anymore. It gets placed on a chair next to the host stand. Every time they tell me 20 minutes, I get there right at 20 minutes, food is... More

TXDirt, I want to follow up with you on your recent trip to TruFire. We completely understand your frustration, cold food is unacceptable. Accurate quote times for togo food and keeping the food warm should absolutely be a priority. We would never serve cold food to a guest in our restaurant and our ToGo guests should not be any different.... More

I went here to meet with friends. We were 1 hour before closing so I ordered a drink and an artichoke. The alcoholic beverage was so sour that it was like drinking pure lemon juice with no alcohol. The artichoke was very sour-dry -salty. I believe the cook doesn't have experience or don't care about the food that is being... More

My husband and I decided to try someplace new for lunch yesterday so we went to TruFire. It was wonderful. The menu is great, the drink selection awesome, and the service wonderful. The place has a cool vibe to it too and a beautiful bar.
