A treasure in the historical part of Frisco

Best chicken fried steak and old-fashioned hamburgers around! Awesome breakfast with the best homemade biscuits and save room for their home-made pie after dinner! Great location with so many pictures from "old" Frisco!

I can't complain; got the senior cheeseburger & tater tots & it was good. Hubby & friend liked their chicken tenders & spinach salad. Friends husband's was not good though. Overcooked chicken fried steak & tater tots! Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Cute little place. I didn't care for outside but inside is good.

We had heard about The Depot, but because it is not very visable from Main Street, we had never given it a try. On Saturday morning, the kids wanted breakfast, but we were tired of IHOP. My husband suggested we try The Depot. We found the directions online and The Depot was easy to find. Parking at 11:00 was a... More

In my opinion this is the best place in Frisco to get a good country breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's built with amazing Frisco memories and has a nice family feeling to it. While it does take a while for the food to get out, you'll forget about that once you start eating!

Pretty good drive to realize it's a gas station. Got the breakfast, 2 of the 3 bacon strips were normal, the 3rd was from road kill I am guessing. I won't be back...sorry

You order at the counter and they give you a number. You get your own drink, silverware, napkins, refills. Your food is brought to your table but you really don't have a server. The fried chicken was excellent, came with 2 breasts, 2 sides, 1 roll. I added a side salad which was $3.95. The fried chicken was 8.95. So the... More

Saturday morning breakfast at The Depot (for our family) is a new tradition and special way to start the weekend ... good food and we never know which of our friends we might to run into. In fact that is where I've met a lot of my forever friends. Ive heard the catfish on Friday nights is super!

We've only gone there for breakfast, and frankly, I enjoy what they serve. It's typical Texas, down-home cooking. The problem is that, in order to come and go, it's necessary to run the gauntlet of people outside on the curb, looking for jobs as day labor. It's reached the point where my wife doesn't even want to consider this. So,... More

Food is consistent. Pancakes were good, good bacon & egg dishes. The only thing is that it is loud from the kitchen door. Quit slamming things. Overall this is great place
