Love The Depot

The Pot Roast on the special with two sides and a huge slice of cake is really good! Very friendly service. The decor inside is cute and not what you would expect when it's attached to a gas station.

Their website says it "...captures the essence of old-time Frisco with today's favorite comfort food." Well, the decor is cute but the food is awful. If their idea of "comfort food" is to open cans, then count me out. We each had the grilled pork chop plate with sides. The pork chop was so thin it almost had only one... More

The Depot has been a landmark of old Frisco for a long time. The facility is well maintained and reflects the rich history of Frisco railroad history. We stopped by for lunch and had fried pork chops, green beans, blacked eyed peas, corn and fried okra. The pork chops were okay but the vegetables were probably right out of the... More

This is inside a building that is a gas station (the gas station part is connected on the north end). I was a bit skeptical when my friend said they had good food, but I love to try new places so off on an adventure we went! And breakfast was fantastic. I had the Depot Breakfast which allows you to... More

Breakfast at The Depot is terrific, with large portions and friendly service. It's a staple of Frisco!

I'm almost afraid to review this restaurant as it's one of our favorites and I don't want to have to wait in line! The Depot is a Frisco landmark. Great country breakfasts and yummy diner style lunches. Its where you'll find the "old-timers" telling tall tales of early Frisco over steaming cups of coffee and homemade pie. But they don't... I've been coming here for years and my recent visit reminded me why... This place has good food, it's clean, and you are always greeted with a smile and a kind word!!! Make sure to check out the daily specials... Pot roast, meat loaf, chicken spaghetti... They are ALL good... It's located to the side of a gas station but... More

I really like this place! I've been here twice and each time i've had great food. I've had catfish twice and it is some of the best i've had here in DFW. It's only open for dinner on Fridays which is a pity. The desserts look homemade and delicious. Very laid back and casual atmosphere.
