Not recommended. Seats, tables, walls, displays, you name it, it needed cleaning. Items for sale had questionable freshness. Chased around by a wasp, lots of flies. Wow folks, fix it or close it. Coffees were good but, wow, when was the coffee machine last cleaned?

Called in for mid morning coffee but were disappointed with the coffee and surroundings. As we don't like the latte kind of thing, we went for filter - which surprisingly for a 'gourmet coffee house' was in a vacuum flask for customers to help themselves, and it wasn't great. Not a good advert for the bags of coffee that they... More

While walking down Main Street in Fredericksburg stop in at Fredericksburg Gourmet Coffee to rest and have a great cup of coffee. It is about mid way down Main Street.

This place was recommended by a friend, so we went and waited 45 minutes for breakfast tacos. They also ran out of coffee, which is crazy, because it's actually a coffee house. The breakfast tacos were good and really big (when we finally got them), but not worth 45 minutes.

We stopped in for breakfast Sunday morning after reading a review about how they have the best waffles and we were horribly dissapointed. There were no tables cleared and people were actually busing and clearing their own tables so they'd have a place to sit. We had to wait much to long for our food to come out and then... More

Totally agree with the last few reviews. This place was a disaster for us. Grumpy service, drinks not cold, no iced water offered. Food incredibly slow and overpriced. Previous customer's left over plate was not cleared the whole time we were there despite it being quiet and 3 women staff present. Staff seemed to think it was an inconvenience to... More

The older reviews here refer to the way the place used to be. Some sort of Snopes thing has happened, this bizzarre family has taken over, all the old staff are gone (presumably fired) and the only person you ever see now is the sullen adolescent girl people are complaining about below. The food used to be great but since... More

Wanted to grab a quick bite before heading home so we thought we would try this place. When we came in we weren't greeted. The girl behind the counter looked as if it was an inconvience to take our order. I asked for 2 waters, one latte and two omelettes. When the coffee was done the girl called out the... More

We were given breakfast vouchers by the B&B we stayed at---given 2 choices of restaurants for breakfast. Place looked cute on the outside, however we were met by a young girl at the front counter (couldn't see anyone else working there) who was completely indifferent, rude. We ordered 2 omelettes and were told it would be "at least 25 minutes."... More

Get some coffee and head for the back porch. Open up your laptop . . . or a good book . . . or turn on your Kindle and spend a pleasant thirty minute enjoying a superior cup of coffee and the time to enjoy it. Breakfasts are good, too, although I agree with another reviewer that the cooks use... More
