Was very hard to find, I wish owners would put a sign on the country road; we passed it several times not knowing where it was. The food was wonderful! I had the blue cheese burger and onion rings. The batter they use for the onion rings is a secret and we were trying to figure out what it was.... More

Myself, my son, dear DIL and 3 grandchildren ages 10, 6, and 3. were at Alamo Springs yesterday at 11:45 a.m. We did not see any garbage or smell garbage. The waitress greeted us at the door and explained that we were responsible for getting our own drinks from the cooler. No problem! I got sweet tea from the tea... More

Outstanding burger, fries and shake. For a good burger, try the 6 layer, $28 el jefe...free if you can eat it all in 30 minutes.

this eclectic cafe is way out on a FM road west of Luckenbach Tx but is well worth the drive. A small ramshackle wood frame building with outside decks that give a good view of the hill country. You will be hard pressed to find a bigger, juicier, better burger in Texas. And the onion rings are great too. Not... More

What a great place! Great atmosphere, in a neat old building that sits in the trees. Service was great and food was awesome. Help yourself to ice cold beer on the honor system. This place definitely lives up to its hype. Very laid back and not pretentious at all. Cant wait to go back.!

Yummy roasted garlic with goat cheese and fried avocados topped with salsa for a pre-meal warm up. Burgers are sirloin, hand patted and unbelievable. Serve yourself beverages and have a seat...servers are busy and you may have to flag them down when the joint is rock 'n busy. It's a destination but worth the drive!

FYI - when you get there, you get your drink and have a seat, someone will come around and get your order. Great place to eat!!

Went to Alamo Springs for the first time on a Saturday night. We were able to snag a good table outside by luck- it was very busy. The atmosphere was very nice. Laid back, nice fresh air, and live music. We had fried avocado as an appetizer. This was the best variation of avocado I've ever had! The burgers were... More

This restaurant is a little gem on a dead end road you would never go down unless you were going to the cafe. Walking in the back door we wondered if we were walking into someone's kitchen. It felt so down to earth and we were seated immediately. Our server Becky, treated us like neighbors and steered us correctly to... More

A yummy hamburger on a fresh jalapeno bun and a cold beer in the middle of the Texas hill country, yes please! The drive out to Alamo Springs is as good as the atmosphere once you're there. The bikers, the city folks, the newlyweds, the hippies, all in a chilled low key country place with a gourmet menu. If you... More
