Great food and atmosphere

Enjoyed our dinner here 4/10/15. Unique and tasty menu w nice entrees and appetizers albeit everything is on one page ...not oodles of options. Had the crab cakes and flat bread appetizers...Both excellent. My entrée was the combo dish of quail, venison tamale, and lamb chops. Definitely recommend... read more

I left a message for a reservation and had a returned call within a few hours. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and this was a wonderful place to do so. The menu is not your normal run of the mill which was a very nice change. Will return again.

We arrived as soon as they opened (actually about 10 minutes before) and were welcomed to sit where we wanted; given our choice and good weather, we ALWAYS choose outdoors. We sat a an ample table under an umbrella on as delightful stone patio. Our waiter was attentive with water and other libations almost immediately. We shared their chicken flatbread,... More

The minute you walk in, the view of the garden makes you want to go outside and sit at the lovely bar before dining. You can dine outside as well but we dined inside this time. It was very comfortable and the service was perfect as always. The food was delicious, especially the Tenderloin with the Avocado Truffle Aioli. The... More

One vacation in Fredericksburg, we were looking for an above average place to eat. This was way above average. Great food and great atmosphere. Limited, but very nice menu. Would definitely go back

Food was unusual, locally sourced and very flavorful. Service was delightful, waitstaff seemed to enjoy looking after their guests. Definately a do-again.

The Navajo Grill has very tasty meals and a pleasing eclectic décor, with cowhide seats on the comfortable chairs and leather table cloths. However, the service is slow and somewhat spotty and prices a little high. Not completely out of line, but not for the frugal. It has an extensive wine list, especially if you have just won the lottery... More

The filet was fabulous! The side potatoes were extremely good! Also liked the Crispy Shrimp and the Asparagus soup of the day. Enjoyed the Strawberry Buckle--had never had that before.

We were there on a Monday, so it wasn't crowded at all. Martinis, pomegranate cranberry for me, pink elderflower (grapefruit juice) for her. Beet salad ( sorry) for her green goddess dressing and cumin flavored pepitas. Green salad topped with pecan-crusted goat cheese for me. Entrees: papardelle with veggies and romesco sauce (ubiquitous pepitas of course) for her. It was... More

We had a fantastic meal at the Navajo Grill. I wasn't sure what to expect because the restaurant seems to draw mixed reviews, but our food and service were both excellent on a recent Sunday evening. We enjoyed sitting outside, and everything we had was delicious. I would return without hesitation!
