Ever heard of Chicken Fried Pecan Pie with Jack Daniels Ice Cream back? It is a do not miss!! Great food and service (ask for Louis) with a reasonable price. Continental menu, full bar.

Very fortunate to find this gem of a restaurant on Trip Advisor as it did not show up on my Urban Spoon App. The seafood was fresh from the Gulf and well prepared in the finest New Orleans traditions, rich and flavorful. Perfect for a relaxing indulgent evening during a beautiful wildflower trip to the Hill Country

The service was extremely good (Joseph was our waiter) and the food was delicious. We had the 10 oz sirloin and the glazed pork roast. The wines are local and were very reasonably priced.

So far above my expectations. Dined from DC to the Best Way n TX, this restaurant has to be the best experience I've ever had. We dined in blue jeans while experiencing the best house wine, steak and lobster imaginable. The Creme brulee was perfect. Thank you Fredericksburg, what a classy town. BRAVO!

On 9/14/2014 my wife and I found ourselves at the end of a long day of winery visits off 290. Our late reservations were taken, and we were glad they were. The Cabernet Grill is a gem. Good spacing between the tables, excellent service, a destination dinner. Famished, both of us ordered appetizers. My wife had the warm brie with... More

We are visiting with another couple & had a delicious dinner at this restaurant this evening. Our seating was quick; our waiter was friendly, helpful and well informed. I ordered the Rainbow Trout and Cheese Grits and both were fabulous. The ambiance was lovely.

We had 6:30 reservations for my birthday dinner, and were immediately seated upon arrival in the upstairs dining room. It's a smaller room with dimmer lighting, which was a nice change from the main dining room downstairs. The wine menu features wines only from Texas, including one of my favorites: Grape Creek Bellissimo red blend. It took almost 10 minutes... More

I ate dinner at the Cabernet Grill on 04/3/15. I ordered the surf and turf, which is a small ribeye steak with coconut shrimp. It came with mashed potatoes. The steak was one of the best I've ever had. I call it cotton-candy steak because it melted in my mouth like cotton-candy. The coconut shrimp wasn't the best I've had.... More
