We wanted a nice dinner after enjoying the Fredericksburg Food and Wine Festival. We've learned that the weekend is a busy one so reservations were important to us. We made our reservations through the website without problems, the staff calling to confirm a few hours prior that day. The meal was terrific, we enjoyed the surf-n-turf and the sirloin entrees.... on a recent overnight visit to Fredericksburg, I decided, based on TripAdvisor reviews, to make a reservation at Cabernet Grill. As always, our wonderful TripAdvisor reviewers steered me to a great restaurant! The setting is appealing with plenty of ambience. The menu has many exciting options.... it almost made me wish I were a meat eater because the steaks all... More

Our inkeeper referred us to the best restaurant in Fredericksburg...Don't know if it is cause only been to two it was superior and fairly priced. I had the snapper with lump crab...$26.95. a great taste well prepared and adequately prepared. On the other hand our server was prompt, efficient and businesslike. I felt like I was an interruption...my only complaint.

Wonderful dinner as our last night in Texas before going home to the UK. Dined inside, lovely dining room with a good atmosphere. People all dressed for a special meal, smart Texas style. The lady server was really lovely and helpful. Has a great Merlot, Pedernales, real good wine, Texas wines have certainly improved greatly. Starters of steamed pork dumplings... More

This restaurant is definitely the best restaurant in Fredericksburg! The warm goat cheese with roasted garlic and kalamata olives was so creamy and delicious. The perfect starter! Their house salad with ginger lime dressing was fresh and the house made dressing was a great complement to the greens. I had the pecan crusted breast of chicken with creole mustard sauce... More

The food is Houston quality. Top-notch all the way. Never disappointed in many visits. Best place for good food in the Hill Country.

My husband made reservations as it was during Oktoberfest. Been there before therefore why I choose it. Saturday night they had the shrimp beignet appetizer which was scrumptious, but I really enjoyed the qual chowder, it was excellent as was my husbands shrimp. Nice selection of wine and dessert. We just love it there.
