Good German Food

The food was good and the service was great. The prices were a little high, but not too bad for the middle of a tourist area.

I had never had German food and thought why not. It is a small place with about 15 tables. The food was good but I didn't get anything special from it. The dessert was expensive. I was frustrated at the end of dinner the check came and I got out my MasterCard. The waitress said they only accept cash, Discover,... More

I ate here based on the reviews, but my experience was substantially different than a majority of the reviews. Service was good, the environment was fine, the prices were fine, but the food was the worst German food I've ever had! I have been to Germany many times and for extended periods, and I since I really like German food,... More

This restaurant offers great German dishes. We asked if we could split our dinner and they were very accomodating. We also tried their potato cheese soup. Yum! The wait staff was very attentive and the service was excellent. Just be aware that you need cash or check to pay for your meal - no credit cards.

Sitting in this restaurant is like being back in Germany. Food is authentic and fresh served by friendly German women. Great schnitzel, cabbage, sausage, bread and German potato salad. Best in town for German meal.

This was not just the best German food I ever ate, it was some of the best food I ever ate - period. And I eat out all the time and am very particular about the food. Not expensive at all and large portions.

The food was meh. I had the chicken curry pineapple, my husband had pan-fried pork chop but was quite disappointed to get a ham steak. Dessert was chocolate mousse cake and it was decent. The waitress was very nice and so was the hostess. I rated 3 because THEY DO NOT ACCEPT VISA OR MASTERCARD, luckily we had enough cash... More

I lived in Germany for 5 years during the 70's and this was the best Jager Schnitzel that I have had since left Germany. If you love German food this is the place for you.

A few weeks back my Friend and I went to the Lindenbaum. The food is good but I was unable to pay with my credit card. I do not carry much cash with me when I go out of town. Thank God my Friend had enough cash to pay for both of us. The owner only takes American Express. Not... More

Husband had the goulash and noodles, and I had the Wiener schnitzel. Good quality food. Not sure how authentic, but it was a good meal. Small space. Desserts are not made there. They don't take American Express.
