The wait was to a minimum, the staff were friendly and the food was great! Best Brats I have ever had, great selection of beer and wines to choose from and the desserts were the best!

This town is famous for their sausage but i had the ribeye steak here and it was great!!! Good quality meat and cooked to perfection. Great service also. One thing they should work on is the heat when you're at the bar. No ac just fans so it's pretty hot but a great place to go!

A good place to go for dinner. The restaurant has both inside and outside dining. We visited in early April and the weather was nice so we chose outside dining. The menu offers authenic German dishes and a nice selection of wines and beer.

This German founded town is filled with German restaurants and we found this one, located on Main Street. The staff are welcoming and eager to please. The menu features almost all typical Barvarian dishes except potato dumplings. But, don't worry, there is enough carbs to go around. This is not light cooking and portions are huge. The selection of beers... More

Two visits in one weekend! First was a beer stop - enjoyed the outside seating with cold german beer. Next stop was for dinner - great german food with good portions. We will be back!

My husband and I have moved to San Antonio and love the towns outside of the city and this is a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal!!!! We will be visiting again and looking forward to bring friends and family to Fredericksburg when they visit.

The red cabbage is inedible. The sausages are dry and unflavorful. The hot potato casserole was uninspired. The beer was warm. Really turned us off to eating out in Fredericksburg. You're better off going to the local H-E-B and making a picnic.

The food was "fine," but the glass of wine tasted like it had been open a few days too long. The service was good...but Otto's has much better schnitzel & spaetzle!

We had Rouladen and Jagerschnitzel. Both were good but I highly recommend the Rouladen. I'm not a huge fan of German food, but both of these dishes were delicious. Prices were reasonable as well. There's an outdoor and an indoor part of the restaurant. Outdoor was very hot; we sat indoors. May be touristy, but we enjoyed it.

Overall this place is alright if you want to grab a beer and shoot the breeze. We find other places to go as it is dark and stuffy, and hot during warm months (there are a lot here). It's a medium, so-so tourist spot.
