We had a wonderful experience working with the owner, Todd, who helped us select wine for our anniversary dinner. We bought a few bottles after he spent some time with us, learning about what we liked. He educated us a bit about each bottle of wine and we enjoyed learning about his first hand knowledge about certain wineries. It is... More

If your looking for a great laid back place in Fredericksburg to have a glass of wine look no further. The bartenders here have been very friendly and like the atmosphere of being in an antique shop. This is a great place for couples to relax or anyone else for that matter.

Great, romantic, cozy place. Bartender Scott went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Definitely coming back😆

My friends & wandered in because of the quirkiness of the gift shop up front and were pleasantly surprised by the wine bar in the back! It started raining so we grabbed a couple of carafes of wine and camped out on the couches for a while! The bartenders were very hospitable & helpful when choosing our drinks. It was... More

The two stars go to the nice bartender and the pleasant atmosphere. I thought that $12 for a glass of wine ON TAP was ridiculous. A warning would have been nice.

Stopped in for a quick glass of wine and a cheese plate. Excellent on both. Our server made excellent wine suggestions and was spot-on in choosing something that matched our tastes. The cheese late was great. We liked it so much we went back again the next day for an encore.

Owner and manager were very welcoming, and their suggestions brought us to some wines we have never tasted, and they were excellent. Good wine is not cheap, you do not go into a wine bar and look for your everyday wine. Experiment, and know that he growers of the grape work very hard for us, so enjoy.

We stop at House.Wine every time we are in Fredericksburg. It's right on main street in the center of town. Not a restaurant, but they do offer some appetizers. Mainly it is a wine-tasting bar. The front of the bar is an antiques store, but in the back it is a wine-tasting bar. It's as comfy as being at a... More
