Stopped in for a break from the heat of the street and a cup of chai. The soy chai was good (quite pricey) but ask for fewer pumps of chai if you like it less sweet--we took three. We shared a bran muffin which was very good. Seems to be one of the few coffee shops in town which may... More

This place was so good we actually ate here both mornings we were in Fredericksberg!! First morning, we had one of the bacon & egg croissants - quite good. Second morning, we were looking for fresh fruit (didn't have any), but a muffin/strudel with a side of bacon worked. My wife had both hot & iced coffee and was quite... More

My family wanted to grab a quick bite and head out to Enchanted Rock, and this place was great; you just order a the counter. We had a great cup of coffee and some ample breakfast tacos (one is definitely enough per person). One of the employees heard my 3-year-old loudly and randomly exclaim BACON and he kindly brought over... More

The place was packed! It was the 4th of July and everyone was downtown. There was plenty of staff and they were working steady and fast. Everyone was in a good mood and joking with the customers. Great experience.

SUPERB coffee. Nothing else need be said. But since TripAdvisor requires more, I'll expound a lil. Right on the main drag of downtown F-burg; great hours (8am on Sun - nice!); and SUPERB coffee!

Had a pecan coffee which was good, I'm not into those fancy coffees so I can't help you there. They did have extras at the coffee station to add to your coffee, cinnamon, honey, cocoa. Also ate a sausage egg croissant, it was a croissant with scrambled eggs chopped up German sausage in it, which was good. Service was great.

We arrived in town around 10:00am during a torrential downpour and found Java Ranch a great place for a couple cups of coffee, a smoothie and breakfast. Their local spin on traditional favorites (try the sausage in the breakfast taco) was a pleasant surprise. The pecan coffee was wonderful, as was the staff.

I had their flavored coffee and a bran muffin, and both were very good. The bran muffin was one of the best I have ever had!

When we arrived there was quite a line, but the staff was very quick. We ordered the streusel pastry and a couple of kolachès, along with the breakfast plate. Although the pastries were quite good, the breakfast wasn't really what we expected; not much flavor. We wanted a "home cooked" breakfast. The eggs were only offered as scrambled, and the... More
