Delicious home cooked taste of lunches is a real treat. Reasonable prices and easy to park. Convent place to begin or end a fun filled trek on Main Street.

What a fun Fredericksburg location! I remember this as an old Exxon station -- now it's an adorable local restaurant. Hamburgers are delicious, pecan bacon wrapped shrimp are to die for, and the chicken enchiladas are the best! Breakfast tacos are fabulous, but get there early as the locals love them too! We love it!

Love Mahaleys. As a local, it is very gratifying to see this little gas station pastry shop grow into a thriving destination. I go there at least once a week and like having a weekly special as an option. It's kind of like a regular meetup for fish taco lovers. Parking is a challenge, but that's Fredericksburg. One suggestion, post... More

We had a quick dinner here at this old gas station building on Main St in the middle of Fredericksburg. They have Texas beer & wine, which was a nice touch. Loved it and our adorable waiter, Joaquin! Got cinnamon rolls and peach turnovers to take to our B & B and they were wonderful heated up with Bluebell ice... More

Because Mahaley's is on Main Street at the corner of Washington it's in a great walk to location. There is a little private parking, which is handy, as Main Street gets packed on weekends. I can't speak for other meals, but I can tell you this is a favorite place for locals to get breakfast. Staff is efficient- and the... More

This is a very touristy place with bland food. We stopped for lunch here, our first stop upon reaching Federicksburg! Both me & friend couldn't empty our plates even though we were super-hungry.

We were at the Pacific War National Museum... We took a break to get a bite to eat. Mahaley's had some good reviews, so we wanted to give it a try. They have only a very small indoor seating area, so we ate on the patio. The patio was surrounded by busy streets with lots of trucks buzzing by, and... More

We read reviews and had to check it out-hamburgers were awesome, I had the Philly cheese which I DO NOT recommend hoagie bread with paper thin pure ought slices of, I think beef, with one very thin slice of cheese, dehydrated mushrooms and red sweet onions...never had a Philly cheese this bare and unpalatable anywhere. Do try the burgers tho... More

While visiting Fredericksburg we passed up this place twice as it just didn't look all that attractive. It's basically an old service station turned into a restaurant. But we're glad we stopped in and gave it a try. We had the cheese burger and ham & cheese sandwich. Both were pretty good, but about what you'd expect for the price.... More

We ate at Mahaley's three times! The sandwiches at lunch were spectacular. But the suppers, unbeatable! We had salmon, asparagus and rosemary potatoes. Also bacon wrapped shrimp, squash, and loaded baked potato. Absolutely fabulous. Outside dining available. What a surprise for such a lil cafe. Must try. On the corner of Washington and Main, across from the Nimitz. Ohhh, and... More
