We stopped in here to learn what they had and Opa staffgave us samples of the different smoked meats.
While driving around town after hours, my daughter spotted the Opa's store. We returned the next day for a visit. Ended up buying food for lunch and to go. Great BBQ sandwiches and sausages. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will return in the near future.
They are not a restaurant but have already made sandwiches. Tasty and economical. About $6 per sandwich. They also have drinks, chips, cookies.
Stopping in at Opa's to pick up sandwiches, drinks and a sweet is an economical way to have a lunch on a beautiful day and save the price of another restaurant meal when in town for a long weekend. The meat, whatever you choose, is great and the sandwiches are over stuffed. A link of summer sausage to go along... More
This is actually a deli and not a restaurant per se. You can get take away sandwiches, mustards, all kinds of processed, smoked meat and sausage and mixes for dip of all kinds. The sausage lovers inside seemed to be in heaven, buying tons of their products. I did check labels and all of the meat does contain nitrates and... More
Opa's has been a staple in town as long as I can remember. It is a great place for lunch sandwich deals for the children and wonderful smoked meats and cheeses for parties. They also special order meats ready for you to throw on your own grill.
Great meat market . Their jalopeno cheese summer sausage was delicious. Also had some neat jams and jellies and cookbooks and german cookies .
Store is really to sell sausages/meats they make at the back (factory). Sandwiches are available but no tables/chairs to eat in. Very small store.
We stopped into Opa's on Black Friday and decided it was the best meal we could have found! We grabbed two sausage sandwiches, chips, drinks, and cookies, which came to a total of ~ $17.00. What a deal! The sandwiches were delicious. The service was great. Great taste! I can't say enough about this place. Can't wait to return next... More
My wife and I picked up some of Opa's meat at the shell station on 290. My wife had the sausage biscuit and I had the smoked jalapeno and cheese sausage in a tortilla. Both were amazing and this is perfect food for hunters. We loved it and would love to go to the real restaurant some day.
