This was a fun place to eat. The food is tasty, hamburgers, wraps, salads, and sodas and sundaes like I remember growing up as a kid sitting at the local soda fountain counter. The diner is right out of the '40 s down to the music ( Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy) and is located on the runway of the Fredericksburg,... More

I love this place! it's a nostalgic atmosphere, clean and cozy. Great french toast. Great Service. I was there for a car club event and there were lots of people dining and waiting to get seated and the restaurant staff and cooks did an excellent job accommodating everyone.

Good hamburger, not so good fries.....the chips that come with the meal at no extra cost are much better. I ordered the jalapeño bun but did not get it. Waitress offered to replace but it would have taken to long....so they got the order wrong and offered nothing more for their mistake. It's an ok place with nice retro decor,... More

Great atmosphere and really good food. It has become a regular stop for us after church. I enjoy the breakfast options but the grandkids normally go for the burger. The diner sits next to the runway so you can watch the private planes landing and taking off.

A restaurant that is probably overlooked by most Fredericksburg visitors. It's located at the airport which is out of the tourist / shoppers way. But looks to be a favorite of locals and many pilots who fly in just to eat. Open only for breakfast and lunch- and I think just Wednesday thru Sunday. Staff is very friendly with prompt... More

It's a couple miles from downtown but worth the 5 minute drive. Great food, pleasant and fast service with a "right there" view of the airport.

We discovered this on an overnight trip to Fredericksburg. It's in a renovated airplane hangar on the taxiway at the airport. It's a few minutes south of Main Street, but well worth the detour. We stopped in for breakfast on Sunday morning with two Jr. High kids. The food and atmosphere are fantastic. The décor is classy and fun. The... More

Excellent location-planes parked right outside and others landing and taking off right by the windows. Excellent service, delicious food, good prices, clean!

On a recent Sunday morning I flew into Fredericksburg, Texas in my Carbon Cub, Two Sierra Yankee, from San Antonio for one purpose: Fredericksburg peach season is virtually over, so I wanted to bring back as many peaches as possible to enjoy these delicacies for the last time this year. However, as I sat drinking ice tea at the inviting... More
