Excellent location-planes parked right outside and others landing and taking off right by the windows. Excellent service, delicious food, good prices, clean!

On a recent Sunday morning I flew into Fredericksburg, Texas in my Carbon Cub, Two Sierra Yankee, from San Antonio for one purpose: Fredericksburg peach season is virtually over, so I wanted to bring back as many peaches as possible to enjoy these delicacies for the last time this year. However, as I sat drinking ice tea at the inviting... More

In April my 90 year old father, a career USAF pilot, and my younger sister, a pilot herself, dined here. The cafe is a stunning experince of aviation memorbilia. The staff were attentive and the food was very good. We had a very nice experience.

Simple, relaxed and fun is what the Airport Diner is all about! Omelets and French toast are my favorites. Fun place to fly to!

A friend recommended that our group go eat here while in Fredericksburg. It was very nice inside and offered a good menu. It stopped there. I do recommend you take a sweater because I froze! Our food was good but not hot and sitting under the vent at sub zero my food and coffee were cold before I got half... More

The staff is all very cheerful, friendly, & welcoming. Our waitress was prompt and checked with us often to make sure we had everything we needed. Another lady, possibly the shift manager, also checked in on us. The food prices are decent -- an average of about $8 per entree -- and the portions are hearty. There is a good... More

Flew up this morning and the waitress, Velen, made sure I enjoyed another great breakfast. I've been a regular customer since 2004 and never been disappointed. The kitchen and waiting staff project an attitude that they enjoy what they're doing. They make it look easy. The diner and the hangar hotel next door display a WWII theme. As long as... More

7-20-14 Went in for breakfast and the food was sub-standard. It's kinda hard to mess up breakfast but they have done it twice now. I've been there for two Sunday mornings in the last few months, both times the biscuits have been old and cold , the bacon also was tough , tasted like it was cooked last night, like... More
