We ended up here because the place we picked was closed for renovations, what a great surprise. The breakfasts were great and big portions too. The bread and biscuits were fresh made. A good start to a day.

When I came to review the Old German Bakery and Restaurant I was surprised to see the number of less than good reviews over the years. We have eaten several times over those same years and have found it to be quite good. Most recently our group of four seniors arrived on a weekday at 9 AM for breakfast. We... More

Recommended by hotel and received vouchers for breakfast. Arrived about 10:30 Sunday morning and quite a line to wait. They stop serving their breakfast menu at 11:30 so recommend you get there early. Can have breakfast after 11 but limited menu. Good omelets and German pancakes. Check out their bakery case...awesome!! Good quality for the price.

The service was good. I had the sausage plate my wife the sauerbraten both were good when we asked for german potato salad we were brought American style potato salad with dill (not my favorite) and the sauerkraut was sub very sub par. All in all not what I expected at best very average.

First let me thank you for your patronage. Second, might I remind you against on a wayward belief amongst man, not everything was born in the United States of America. Potato Salad was born in Germany. This particular recipe you sampled was the recipe of a lovely lady that only twice walked on American soil in her entire incredible life... More

My wife and I travel and eat out quite a bit. One of the most enjoyable breakfasts we've had. Wait staff were cool and attentive and the food was great. I would highly suggest this restaurant. Great value. Les L

Amazing Migas! And hubby had pork chop with eggs, hashbrowns and toast. The Butter croissant with ham, cream cheese, tomato and grilled onions is to die for!! Staff very friendly and helpful. Love it! Will go back.

What a nice little German cafe and bakery! We stopped in for lunch and drooled over the bakery. We plan to stop by in the morning for breakfast. Old world German comfort food that taste so good. Definitely a locals hangout so you know it's good! Great staff and owner. Thank you.

The only thing I liked here was the pastries which were a good size for $2. I ordered the special which was supposed to be chicken breast with two optional sides. Outside the restaurant, they had a sign indicating you could order either broccoli or green beans. When I ordered the broccoli, they had none. The sign hadn't been updated... More

Some of the best German Food I've tasted! The sausage was perfect and meaty. The sauerkraut was incredible! I had people at my table who don't like sauerkraut and said they would order a whole bowl of this sauerkraut!
