Great Reuben

Love coming here. The other day I had one of the best reuben sandwiches I ever ate. Everything was nearly perfect. And some yummy red cabbage to go with it. Service was fast, prices are average, if you haven't been here you have to try it. Always lots of locals in it.

the loaves of bread were fresh and the almond sweet bread was awesome! It is very sweet, comes with a frosting glaze on it.

Being a breakfast foodie, I give this place high marks. I got an omelet with biscuits and a side of their gravy. The omelet was gigantic, but it was the taste that made it so good. The biscuit was fresh and delicious. And the gravy.... I normally despise cream gravy on biscuits and gravy, but their gravy was so well... More

Stopped in to eat today as we traveled through town. Actually decided to eat here after reading the response of the owner to review that was a bit disparaging toward the "locals". I was impressed with the passion the owner displayed in "defending" the locals. I also love finding the places that the locals frequent. They are usually the hidden... More

This is a great local restaurant, we have lived here for 17 years and this is one of the best local spots for reasonable good food. You can't beat their breakfast or lunch.

Never had German pancakes before. Sweet and yummy. My husband had the sausage platter. The food was delicious. Very tasty sauerkraut. Big chunky fried potatoes. Three different kinds of sausage. The serving are very large. Meals are served on platter size plates. Our server was Anna. She was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Place is popular with the locals. While... More

Great breakfast, good coffee. Avoid the locals tables as they will try to sit with you if there is an open seat, some of them even have missing teeth and poor hygiene. these are the long tables in front of the pastry counters. gross. but aside from that and the sketchy staff the food is good and consistent every time... We are glad you enjoyed our food. But never appreciate anyone talking nasty about our locals!!! There are many visitors that come in daily and love sitting with our locals and get thrilled when they join them. Respect your elders and some of those locals own half of Main Street. Don't judge a book by its cover and if you... More

Went here just a few days before Christmas for a girls day out. We had the 1/2 Reuben sandwich with a cup of soup, priced less than $8. The soups were spilled out of the cup and onto the sandwich while in route to our table. We therefore had soggy sandwiches. It pretty much ruined our meal. The bread is... More

I can't say enough about the food and bakery here! I went in for breakfast and ordered coffee, German pancakes and bacon. Delicious! The pancakes are huge! It spilled over the large plate. One is enough, unless you are a big eater. While I was eating, the baker was bringing out fresh baked bread. I bought two loaves to take... More
