Brunch

We had an authentic German dish. Very traditional and price was fair. The staff was really good and polite. We'd definitely go back.

My boyfriend and I walked into this nice little bakery/restaurant and boy were we glad we did! Not only were the lunch specials great, but the staff was wonderful as well. I ordered the German meatloaf and it was made perfectly. Portions were incredibly huge for lunch specials - and they all come with a complimentary iced tea. We were... More

Our first time to Fredericksberg & not sure where to eat we just asked around. The night before ran into a couple who told us we needed to go to Old German Bakery on Main & get the German pancake falls off the side of the plate. Next morning we ventured into Old German Bakery & not sure if it... More

We always eat breakfast at George's. You might have to wait on the weekends and maybe sit at a table with some of the locals that are always a blast to talk to. The waiters and waitresses are a hoot to talk to a wealth of information if you are looking for something special. They can usually tell you where... More

Had a ten or 15 minute wait to get seating but they were packed for a reason. Great food in the restaurants. The German pancakes were as big as my sons head. The bakery had great items but they go fast so get there early.

This restaurant is amazing. Great food for a good price. The Pancakes are the size of a dinner plate and very light and fluffy. The migas is really good. Comes made with corn tortillas and a Verde sauce that tastes great. Just a little heat not too much just right. I like my eggs cooked medium well and noone ever... More

Food was good and fresh, but the service was outstanding! Spinach and mushroom omelet was stuffed with both. Needed a little more cheese, but was very good. My husband had the Migas and said they we're very good. The biscuits were homemade and also very good. Although we did not have any pastries, they had a lot to choose from,... More

This is a home cooking kind of restaurant with German flair. It also has a nice bakery in case you don't want to wait in line for breakfast and just want to have sausage rolls or pastry and coffee for breakfast. The lunches are good too and the lines are just as long at lunchtime.

My first stop is at this restaurant for lunch. The food is quite decent and their price, too. If you love German food with an American twist - try it.
