Stopped in here for light lunch. Good food, but the waitress didn't know the menu well. Asked if the red cabbage dish was hot or cold, she said cold - well - it was hot. And when we commented on it, all she said was, "sorry". However, the rest of the food was quite good. We walked by here one... More

We saw that there were a lot of diners and picked it based on that even though we had breakfast vouchers for other places which did not have diners dining. Always a bad sign. It was today at 9:30 am and it was full of locals. Loved the German accent! Everything was great. Scrambled eggs, poached eggs, German sausage, bacon,... More

Great service despite being very busy and great bakery! They had a variety of American favorites and German specialties.

Our last morning we wanted to get breakfast and chose this place. The food was good and filling and the service was friendly. The place was busy but we still made out in good time. We didn't get any bakery items this time around but will make a point to do so the next time.

Had breakfast there. It was not out-of-this-world, kind of greasy spoon food. Mom's potato pancakes are better! But we got a couple of bakery goods on the way out. And one bite, and WOW! We devoured our treasures in two seconds flat (full tummies be damned!)

As we were passing through Fredericksburg decided to stop for a bite to eat and luckily picked this restaurant. The food was excellent, very friendly service and "oh my" the bakery! They have a larger selection on their menu plus daily specials, everyone in your group will find something wonderful to eat. The Bratwurst entree with sauerkraut, German pan fries... More

Our B&B gave us voucher's to be used here for our breakfasts. We tried to visit them the first day and they closed early because of being sold out. The next day we got there in time to get some of the pastries. Everything was super yummy!

Excellent food, decent prices, and very good customer service. They make homemade bread loaves and a variety of German pastries. The two days we were there for breakfast both days had great everything. Our waitress was so sweet she gave me a hug when I left and thanked me from coming in. Love this place.

My husband and I ate here after receiving a breakfast voucher from Kingwood suites. It's a small little restaurant and bakery. I ordered a french toast with fresh fruit, it was one huge slice of french toast I only ate half.' my husband ordered an omelette oh my gosh the gooey cheese made it look super yummy. The waitress was... More
