Had a great time sampling their beer and sausage. Large portions, one plate was enough for two people. Prices were reasonable. I wish they had an outside seating area.

My wife and I went to this casual, trendy microbrewery for lunch. We were seated rapidly, and the service was very attentive and informative. I had the shrimp po-boy which was loaded with tender, tasty fried shrimp which were wonderful. My wife had the portabello mushroom sandwich with a side salad. This was one of the most remarkably good sandwiches... More

This place has everything going for it - a great spot on main street, the lure of a craft brewery and a German theme with biergarten. However, they miss the mark at every turn! Firstly, the bar staff is not welcoming, even rude. Second, the beer is not good, especially not for $4.50 a pint. Third, their pretzels (a quintessential... More

The German food was exactly what we were looking for. The beer sampler was just enough for both of us to try and agree that is was mediocre. A must stop though while in Fredericksburg.

The beer was not very good but they have a nice little indoor beer garden if you're looking to sit back and drink with friends.

I don't drink beer, but the people w/me do and they like the beer here. About six different beers brewed on site. Atmosphere is nice, loud, but the big brewing tanks and fireplace are nice in the main area. If you have to wait for a table to eat at you go to the back where they have long tables... More

Cheddar Ale Soup...rocks!! The beer is always good and we look forward to the different times of year when they have the Giant or Helles (the name I forgot). Excellent service. It can get a bit crowded and crazy on a Saturday but then that's Fredericksburg. It's worth your effort and try it on a non weekend night and you... More

I have TRIED and TRIED to give this place a chance but during two seperate trips I have been so disappointed. As much as I enjoy the ambiance of the place right on Main Street, the food is just not good! The first time I went, I ordered the fajita salad. When the meal came out, I had to take... More

My husband and I stopped here to try the beer before we had to head out for our dinner reservation. We didn't try any appetizers or food, but the beer was very good!

This restaurant was cozy. The food was good not spectacular. The hubby's burger was great. However the fries were soft and the fruit that the kids and I ordered was in a weird bitter liquid. I would stick to the beer and comfort food! That sounds obvious but is hard for health conscience and those with kids.
