We ate dinner here and had fried pickles for appetizer and a Ruben for main course. Fried pickles were great, Ruben generous and tasty. Beer was good. Wait staff was personable, and attentive. Interesting find was the many flags hanging from the ceiling, good topic at dinner. Fun with flags. Would eat here again for a relaxed casual dining experience.... More

Not impressed with any of the beers. Ridiculously overpriced samples just to find out if you want to buy a pint. Food was good but limited portions (wrap and portabella burger).

...loved their beers! Especially the porter and red ale. Lunch was okay, not "out-of-this-world", but tasty. I ordered the single sausage (chose jalepeno cheddar brat) with sauerkraut and a six beer taster flight. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed Fredericksburg, wish we could have spent more time there.

I have always stopped by, this time I tried the jaeger snitchel. a previously frozen piece of greasy breaded pork. The German potato salad was quite over sweet with sugar or sweet pickle juice. The fries were good. The waiter was quite gone most of the time except to hand out and pick up the check. I really enjoyed the... More

Expected more from a brew pub. Schnitzel special was simply not good and the reuben sandwich was the same.

Usually when we go to Fredericksburg we eat here, because the food reminds us of our trip to Germany and the staff is attentive and delightful.

I'm a beer lover, and not just a little bit… I mean, I LOVE my porters and stouts. So, it was with much ado that my sweetie and I ventured into the Fredericksburg Brewing Company. Firstly, I was delighted to see they have copper tanks behind the bar. Secondly, they brew their own porter! YUM - it was delicious, although... More

The restaurant wasn't too busy so we didn't have any issues with service like some others have complained about. We each had a beer and they were good. They don't have an actual flight of beers but you can order a mini of any beer for $1.25. We both ordered chicken fried steak. They were nearly the size of the... More

Slaw is very soupy and is bought in a tub from a grocery store. Meatloaf is supposed to be "Oma's" special receive but is awful tasting and very thinly sliced and doesn't look like any meatloaf I've ever seen. If there was a Cracker Barrell any where close, they would put them out of business! Husband got red fish thinking... More
