Great local gem

Bonnell's has really excellent game themed entrees and some great appetizers like the elk mini tacos. The ambiance is good and Jon Bonnell almost always makes the rounds and speaks with everyone. Highly recommended for any nice dinner occasion.

If you want something a little different then head to Bonnell's. Standard fare is mixed with elk, Antelope, bison, ostrich and kangaroo. Superb wine list. Jon has his own merritage label. Wine dinners occur on a frequent basis

The food was great especially the Wild Boar tenderloin and the filet. I miss the huge ribeye steak they used to serve.

Red fish was delicious. Server was slow and got the orders wrong. Server only suggested the most expensive from appetizer to entree.

There's not many restaurants worthy of mention outside of downtown Fort Worth where the cluster of fine dining is so intense. If, however, you live or work on the south side of the city, near 20 and Southwest Blvd, or Bryant Irvin, this is a GREAT choice for a fine meal. You certainly won't be disappointed if you choose this... More

A very unique and unusual menu with items not found many other places. It is a bit pricey which is the only reason we don't go there more often but it is great place for special celebrations.

outstanding locally sourced vegetables and game meats. Try the fried quail legs dipped in jalopeno cream sauce or the buffalo steak.
