There are options to add protein to veggie offerings. The libations board includes ‘vinegars’ which are fruit flavored vinegar infused, non-alcoholic beverages that are amazingly refreshing. Not having written a bad review ever, I'd say "It's about time". And this restaurant goes to the head of the class in "terrible". I had an arugula salad with goat cheese and blackberry dressing. YUK1 The portion was so small you could hardly see it, about three curds of goat cheese and smothered in too much dressing. Everything here... More

Same owner, new concept, new name. As West coast as you can get in Cowtown. Strangely the hours are 7 am to 7 pm. So if you want to drink you will need to be an early starter. Eclectic menu from an high level chef. Same small portions like Lanny's old place. Well worth a visit, though also West coast... More

We went to this restaurant at the recommendation of a good friend. We had friends in town to impress. What a disappointment. It is highly overpriced... and we don't mind paying for good food... We made reservations for a Friday night..it was not crowded. It is a small rest.. The waiter was polite. We ordered tapas which were delicious, and... More

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth. Lanny is an exciting chef who loves to create delicious courses that always seem to build on one another. Our last visit this past week did not disappoint. We started with a venison tortilla soup that was served exquisitely by the staff. The trout and tenderloin dishes in our group... More

My wife and I recently had dinner at Lanny's for the first time. We found both the menu and the wine list to be so varied and interesting that we ended up ordering the five-course tasting menu with the wine pairings. That option was slightly pricy, but we found the entire experience to be well worth the money. All five... More

The DFW area has 84 freeways and 85 are under construction. As a result of this, we arrived 20 minutes late for our reservations. We and called an were told this would not be problem. We're perpetually late, we've been turned away at some places, we've been met with icy stares at some, and we've been warmly received at others.... More

We wanted something different for our anniversary this year, no typical DFW chef of the month spots. We found exactly that at Lanny's. Fine dining, intimate upscale but not over the top setting. Our service was impeccable. The 4 course prefix was fantastic. The Red Pepper soup was one of the best we've ever had in a restaurant. Lemon sole... More

Creative and wonderful cuisine, but service is disappointing. In a cute house, hard to find, but worth looking for.

We tried the tasting menu - 5 courses - because it included everything we wanted to try and the portion sizes sounded just right for what could have been an overwhelming meal. Each course gave us an opportunity to taste a variety of flavors and creations, each one very special in and of itself. Though the tasting menu was expensive,... More
