Stopped here while galavanting around The Stockyards. Place has a great atmosphere and fun, friendly staff. We weren't able to get a table if we were just having a drink so we ordered some nachos. The salsa, guacamole and cheese were delicious. Don't miss this spot for a true Texas welcome!

A friend and I walked past Booger Red's when visiting the Fort Worth Stock Yards. A sign outside proudly displayed their Buffalo Butt Beer and we couldn't resist giving it a try. We went in for the beer, and selected to have the Salsa and Queso Combination to satisfy our munchies. The beer was excellent, the chips were great and... More

My daughter and I visited Booger Red's for appetizers while in the Stockyards. The bar stools include a few saddles scattered throughout, so be prepared to straddle a saddle if the stools are full or you just feel like ridin' and dinin'. The western theme is carried throughout (as it should be in the Stockyards), so it was a fun... More

Went her for afternoon beers and dinner on 18 November. Beer was cold and food was tasty. Great atmosphere inside and the saddle bar chairs were great fun. Bar staff were great and helped us out with some advice on a few things. Five very large beers and two entrees with tip was around $66 and dinner for two with... More

We went to Booger Reds twice in the space of our three day visit to the stockyards. The first time just to have some drinks, and sit on the saddle bar stools (great photo op!) and the second time we went in for a bite to eat for lunch. Both times we went the staff were very friendly, the place... More

The food was good, nice steaks amd salads. Staff though seemed a bit amateurish, also in a bad mood at times. We ate there twice, I would reccomend it although the best steaks in town are definitely at Cattlemens (my boyfriend who was with me raises cattle so he could tell the quality).

Just been to the 'Booger Red's Saloon' today for a few beers. Read about this bar on TripAdvisor and had to visit it. The bar itself is styled in the way of an old Texan Saloon and every other stool at the bar are saddles... very unusual! We ended up drinking a local Texan beer called 'Buffalo Butt' which wasn't... While all the bar/restaurants in the Stockyards area are tourist friendly, especially during the daytime, Booger Red offers what I would call a better class of Cowboy chic! As part of the H3 Ranch restaurant you get to enjoy the cowboy bar, where every other bar stool is a saddle (I kid you not!) while enjoying the food supplied to... More

Had to stop for a drink after walking the streets of the Stockyard. There are saddles you can sit on at the bar. Most of the bar is original from the 1800's along with the wood and glass bar area. Everyone was very friendly and gave the history of the bar.

Great Western atmosphere. Good drinks. Superb grilled steak with all the trimmings...potato, corn on the cob, salad and homemade bread. Wonderful service. A bit pricey but well worth it.
