Rattle Snake and Rabbit Sausage

Very inventive menu. We started with the rattle snake and rabbit sausage with the Bibb lettuce salad. The elk loin with hen of the woods mushrooms was perfect. The ancho chocolate cake is a signature dessert, however, I personally found it to be too sweet . We found the flan to be the better end to... read more

Nice quaint western atmosphere. Food was fine but overpriced in our opinion. Paying for the name association with Chef Love.

I absolutely love this place! The food is just amazing everytime! Best steak in town! I would strongly suggest the buffalo sliders and lobster hush puppies for appetizers! If you have not had the jalapeño cucumber margarita you are missing out! Tim Love knows his stuff! Well worth the money!

A good dining experience. Food is interesting and has a good flavor. A tad bit overhyped in the local press in my opinion.

Eating at this bistro was a first time event for us and most of the party we were with. The unique somewhat eclectic menu was most difficult to chose from, but we started with the rattlesnake/rabbit sausage, elk sausage sliders and kangaroo carpaccio "nachos". This was followed with a butter lettuce, smoked bacon salad and for the main course, we had... More

We have wanted to dine here for years! Finally made a lunch reservation. Door staff friendly, very quick. Eric our server knowledgeable, proficient & relaxed. Started w/ a appetizer sampler. Elk sliders w/ foie gra & blueberry jam rocked. We shared a Seared Duck Breast & Fowl sausge entree. Pleasantly surprised by the sausage. The pan fried brussel sprout side... More

Reservation for 10 got us seated next to the kitchen and combined the noise and bustle of the food preparation along with the noise of the adjacent bar and restaurant so you could hardly hear the person next to you. Beer, wine, and a mixed drink for everyone preceded a very eclectic menu. Shared starters of elk sliders, lobster hush... More

Couple the charm of the Fort Worth stockyards with exquisite food and you find yourself at the Lonesome Dove Bistro. I was was with 3 colleagues and we were all very pleased. I had the elk. It was cooked perfectly medium rare. We shared beet home fries with goat cheese (loved this!) brussels sprouts and the Mac and cheese. All... More

Went here for dinner right before the Rodeo Show at Cowtown Colosseum & I ate: 1. Rabbit-Rattlesnake Sausage - Well presented and perfectly bite sized 2. Grilled Shrimp - succulent and flavorful. Loved it. 3. Roasted Garlic Stuffed Beef Tenderloin (Medium done) - the best steak I have ever eaten. This is their signature dish and is so delicious with... More
