Delicious Ft. Worth Dining Western Style

We celebrated Valentine's Day early with a wonderful dinner here. We were seated immediately and we felt very welcome. Our cucumber jalapeño margaritas needed the addition of agave syrup to be enjoyable. It was brought to the table without question. We chose an appetizer sampler of Wild Boar ribs... read more

I did a Food Network tour across the US and this restaurant was my stop in northern Texas. I enjoy trying "different" foods and when I could not decide which appetizer to have they offered to michose and mix...viola! I had rattlesnake/rabbit sausage, lamb lollipops and elk slider...all prepared to perfection. Then for my main course, crispy duck... If I... More

We went for dinner on a Friday night. We had made reservations well in advance. They sat us in the "wine cellar", which we would not recommend, as its the basement that they try to dress up. Ask to be upstairs. The food did not live up the restaurants reputation. We spent close to 300 for the two of us,... More

Wow. I have my list of favorite restaurants in Chicago, but none top Lonesome Dove. PLEASE come to Chicago. We started with a jalapeño - cucumber margarita. I had to try. I was in tears, it was so spicy. He made us different one "with less seeds", but still finished the first one, had to. I got a personal tour... More

I had such high hopes for this place and looked SO forward to doing dinner. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great !! We ordered the grilled shrimp appetizer and it was either the elk or antelope (can't remember which) appetizer. Both were SO over cooked and dried out that we were shocked !! The shrimp had... More

We went here for wedding rehearsal dinner. Probably 80 or so folks. Although our menu was limited the trout and filet mignon were fantastic. Cooked to absolute perfection. Usually when you eat with a group this large service is lacking and you are either eating before everyone or waiting to get your meal. Not the case, the wait staff had... More

If you want to have some of the best western style cuisine and an outstanding wine selection to go with it, this is the place to go. This is not just another steak place. It has multiple entrées for every taste - halibut, lamb, elk, pork, duck, trout and a host of others including steak, lots of it.

My super wife suggested this place, while I was searching for a place to take my college-age daughters for a special Christmas dinner...as usual, she was right! The atmosphere was great; smaller than I expected, but not crowded at all. Dress for this place could be about anything, but I would say business/casual- although I would have felt just as... More

As a young child, I lived in a small little town, Grapevine, wedged between Ft. Worth & Dallas, Every weekend we would go to the "big city" of one of these two. I remember Ft. Worth as being a dusty, cow town. I enjoyed visiting but felt Ft. Worth was dirty compared to the hustle & bustle of the more... More
