Fantastic!

We had an absolutely fantastic lunch here, the menu was very interesting for both food and drinks-we were spoilt for choice. Service was exceptional, loved it here!

I have the opportunity to eat in many fine restaurants and this is one of my absolute favorites. Everyone there makes you feel so welcome and comfortable that you almost forget you are eating in a first class restaurant. The menu is fantastic and I have never had a bad dish here. You must try if you are in Ft.... More

I've taken clients here for dinner twice now and both times, they raved about the experience. We've opted for doing appetizers in a family-style way, which the restaurant accommodates beautifully. And the appetizers list is one of the best parts of the LD. They make exotic fun but doable. Even non-foodies found themselves wanting more of the Elk sausage sliders,... More

To preface, this is the sort of fine dining that inspires a laugh when residents of Fort Worth disparage the snobbery of their sister city. There is $115 steak on the menu. Enough said. It is pricey, but it is well worth it. Service: Amazing Food: Amazing Wine Selection: Great Atmosphere: Very Good I tried the snake and rabbit sausage,... More

Lonesome Dove has got to be one of my favorite places for a nice steak in the metroplex. It's fine dining while still being cowboy. Their cocktails are top notch and they know how to make a real Old Fashioned. I like that buffalo steak is an option but it is huge. Seriously share it with someone or plan on... More

Went with a group of coworkers, tried the elk and found it to be awesome. the taste was more like beef than venison. I expected it to be gamey but it was not. someone ordered the rabbit/rattlesnake sausage bites and I tried one! They were very good. They wait staff was good and the place was crowded but they handled... More

This is actually the second time I've been to this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The menu is eclectic but still accessible and never pretentious. I love how they treat the 1st course. You can pick & choose how ever many appetizers you want to try and they plate them according to the size of the group. This way,... More

I've lived in Fort Worth for decades, and finally visited Lonesome Dove during restaurant week August 15, 2015. First, the restaurant week menu was limited but still fine. The food was excellent. Our waiter was excellent. The young lady at reservation desk was pleasant. The first impression walking in was how LOUD the restaurant was since the bar is basically... More

We dined at Lonesome Dove for our anniversary and had a great experience. We started with the rattlesnake/rabbit sausage and elk sliders for appetizers. We loved the sausage. The sliders were tasty but a little too rare for me and a little too sweet for my husband. We had beef tenderloin for our entree, which was delicious and tender. They... More
