And it was fantastic. My wife hade the sliced tenderloin sandwich and I had the double BLT. They were so very good. Waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. Next time I'm in Cowtown , I'll be eating here.

I have been a fan of Tim Love on TV forever. We went and had best service ever . We got my pic taken with chef and received complimentary bottle of champagne with sparklers too !!

We went here for a dinner with my husband and it was great. The waiter was very attentive and nice. Margarita turned our to be horrible, but all the rest pleasantly surprised.I'd recommend their rattlesnake sausage, kangaroo meat.I ordered quail and I didn't expect the quail ever to be so soft and juicy. The mac and cheese with white truffle was out of... We went here for my birthday and it was had to choose an overall ranking for this place because the service was awesome. It was the food. We ate what was recommended as "favorites" . My husband also ate the starters that they build a tasting type menu with - it was just off somehow. Everything was, I couldn't quite... More

The best margarita I have ever had. A jalapeño cucumber margarita. WOW! I would highly recommend the rattlesnake sausage, the elk sliders, the lobster hush puppies and the elk enchiladas. Food, drinks and service is first rate. Will definitely eat there again.

We had breakfast the next morning at Esperanza's bakery realizing that our $30 breakfast was better than the $160 dinner we had at the lonesome dove. We had the recommended 'signature' steak and the elk entrees, one martini, and 2 beers and a little chocolate desert to go. The elk came with something they called 'harts of the west' that... More

My husband and I along with our friends ate here earlier in the summer. We were in town for the George Strait farewell concert and one of our friends had heard GREAT things about the Lonesome Dove...he made reservations prior to our trip. We arrived on time and opted for the valet...there was a bit of a wait while they... More

After the devastating fire, Lonesome Dove has returned with a vengeance. The added basement space is a great addition. As always the food is well thought out and paired. The wine list seemed to grow while on hiatus
