Don't get confused. The restaurant is actually called cabo grande. This was an excellent meal. A good place to go by yourself, with friends, or on a date. I ordered a Cuban Sandwich while my friend ordered tacos. The food was awesome, even better was the service, and all reasonably priced. 8 for a large sandwich and fries (had to... More

This is a restaurant with an authentic Mexican look, and 1.00 margaritas for lunch. We chose the lunch buffet because everything was on the bar for 9.99 and single lunch items averaged 6.99 to 8.99. There was a pretty extensive salad selection with 2 choices of lettuce, 2 soups, several enchiladas, fajitas in chicken and steak, chile renos , brown... More

My family and I were out downtown Fort Worth shopping and were debating on where to eat. We decided on Cabo Grande and we were so pleased we did. The food was absolutely wonderful. The salsa was excellent and the menu offered some different items! I got the enchiladas and was so glad I did. They were excellent and different... More

Interesting variety of food. Love the flautas, especially the potato and chicken. Bar drink was made perfectly. It was like we had escaped to another place entirely. Staff was attentive but not intrusive and made wonderful recommendations.

I guess you think beef steak when you say Ft Worth. Right I get it. But that lunch or dinner you need Tex-Mex head over to Gabo Grande, on the corner of 2nd and Houston St. Directly across from Worthington Renaissance Hotel. Best food ever. Service to match. You will enjoy so take your time. Drink it all in.

Our first trip to this restaurant. I ordered the Cabo burrito, when it came out it looked like a sub sandwich cut in half. I'm talking large! The salsa and chips were good and they kept them coming. Will have to try the dessert at another time, ran out of room.

We had a very good lunch here. The chips and salsa are plentiful, and the service was excellent. The cuban sandwiches and cuban rice are tasty, and the chicken soup is delicious. Portions are plentiful, and the atmosphere is delightful.

Our hotel had recommended this place as well as two other Mexican restaurants-we stopped by the first two which were a little more hip or high class...we were looking for chill laid back atmosphere which we found here. Penny our waitress was awesome!! Helped with food choices, drink choices and was patient with us while we decided. Her personality was... More

Great meal and outstanding unique drinks! The loster enchiladas were good too. Many unusual entrees, will go again.
