This is the sort of dim religious grill room celebrated by poets. It's low and dark, filled with Stetson-wearing carnivores and visitors and illuminated at the far end by a toque-wearing chef wielding his magic behind the fiery grill. Entrees came with a choice of potato - mash, mash with horseradish, jacket or fries - but no other vegies. Salmon... More

I was a guest at this establishment on March 14,2015. The drinks were great and not overly priced. The food was delicious and portions were huge. They cook the steak at the front of the room. Our server was great and hilarious. We even got into a conversation about Kentucky Bourbon. My friends had the bread pudding and apple pie.... More

This is as old as old school gets. Cattlemens is what the spirit of CowTown is about. The big barons ate and took their meeting in booths like these and hunkered down over great big chunks of beef. The steak is very good, and I think reasonable compared to your fancy pants steak houses. Big baked potatoes loaded, great drinks... More

Service was great tho we were there on a Tuesday. Appetizers, salad and cocktails were only ok. We ordered hashbrowns with our steaks. Steaks were great. Hashbrowns were dry and not good. Prices are way too high for quality.

We called for reservations and were told they were booked for the night. We figured we would give it a try anyway. Walked in, there was a 20 min wait for a table. We asked if we could sit at the bar. That said sure, there was no line for there

If you're in Fort Worth you have to try this place the most wonderful steak you'll ever have. Again its in very close proximity to everything in the stockyards.

Lived in Ft. Worth years and years ago and never went to the stockyards. So, decided to visit this year while vacationing there. Wanted a good steak for lunch and we were not disappointed. The steak was great! Tender and flavorable. The rolls, however, are THE BEST!! WOW!! Could have made a meal on them. Don't miss a great place... More
