Good steak!

We recently had a graduation dinner here and we hadn't been here in years! The food was really good and so was the service! It is always fun to be in the historic Stockyards and we were pleased to enjoy this restaurant, as well! It is a comfortable restaurant that you don't feel like you have to... read more

17 of us, family and friends and everthing went right. I got the Cattlemen's Bone-In Rib Eye Steak 18-oz., and was superb. Next time in the area, for sure I'll go back

Nice traditional Texas steak, cooked to perfection. Lots of good beers, and wine. Nice sides too...could use more veggies and a better salad. Very historic and typical Fort Worth vibe. This is a place to eat. Just a little on the expensive side.

Found this place while wandering around The Stockyard. Other places had a wait, but we were seated quickly here. The server was friendly and helped us with local beer choices. They bake fresh rolls, and keep them coming. The onion rings were some of the best I've had, something about their homemade batter. It was nice to not have an... More

I really wanted to like this place since it is one of my friends favorite place to eat... But I just don't. The atmosphere is very bleak, maybe some people find that charming??? But more important, is that the food is just not that good. My steak was okay, but my baked potato had clearly been baked many many hours... More

Stopped in for lunch after looking around and watching the cattle drive. Food was excellent. The burgers and onion rings were the best we have ever had!! Atmosphere was a little dark and dated but I guess that is part of the charm.

Wonderful food. Superb service. Meal portions were huge. Surf and turf is highly recommended as is the pepper crusted filet mignon, Texas toothpicks, deep fried pickles and onion rings. Perfect location for exploring The Stockyards.

Went to Cattleman with a large business group. Service was great and food was great also. My steak was cooked perfectly! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I was on a work trip and we had a group of about a dozen people on a Wednesday night. Someone pushed to go here because they had immediate seating and H3 had a 20 minute wait. In the end, that made no difference because we did get seated quickly but nothing happened for over 20 minutes. The place seemed... More

The setting of this place is sort of like a 70s dark dining room. Do not let that throw you if that is not your thing. The food is good to very good and you get a good bang for your buck. I enjoyed a good steak at a fair price and it came with two sides and a salad... More
