Dinner Before Rodeo

Wonderful food, and great service. My entire family enjoyed their meal. My wife doesn't really like steak, so she got some kind of chicken. She said it was delicious.

Friendly staff, nostalgic feel, and the prime rib was the best steak I've ever had anywhere. Coming from Western Australia where a good steak is not hard to find, the prime rib here was just amazing. A great start to our US holiday.

The steaks were overlooked but the baked potatoes could have been cooked a bit longer. Tasty grilled gulf shrimp. Slow food service but excellent waiter attentiveness (kept the drink glasses filled).

If you want a touch of nostalgia as well as a great steak, go to The Cattleman's steak house on the north side. It has a connection to the stockyards and the western rodeo spirit that is alive and well on the north side. The food is great and service is friendly.

Stopped here before heading over to the rodeo. Ordered the rib eye and was a very good steak. Very nice flavor. Help was friendly and had no complaints.

We been eating at Cattlemen's for well over 50 years. It was good then and it is still good today. The secret is: stick to what you know! The tradition at Cattlemen's is to serve the highest quality beef and cook it hands-on over the flames. The results are outstandingly delicious. If you ordered medium rare, you will get exactly... Was told this was the iconic steak house in Fort Worth. Our friends who were locals had wanted to eat here but never made it. The food and service was very good. Steaks were cooked perfectly and succulent. Reasonable value for money. But worth checking out. Free parking.

We had a huge group and came without any notice. Taylor helped get us a table together quickly. He had great drink and dessert recommendations and never let our water glasses get even halfway empty. The food was fantastic and out quick, despite the extremely busy restaurant. Taylor brought us extra rolls (yum!) and refills, and gave us ideas of... More
