Great Atmosphere, Service and Food

It was a Plan B and they fit our party of 25 in rather quickly. They are a larger place, big bar, wonderful service and a nice menu. A little bit of everything and chef focused. GREAT Iced Tea!

I just had lunch here with a group of women friends. I found the menu more interesting and appealing than at most other Tex Mex restaurants. The waiter was very friendly and attentive to our somewhat demanding group. My meal included the Painted Desert soup: two soups in one bowl - black bean soup (delicious) and a corn chowder (good).... Customer service rocks here. I was dining alone, so I sat at the bar. There were two bartenders on shift and the one that was serving my area was new. I really love the way that the senior bartender was constantly checking on and assisting the newbie. The manager checked on me as well. My drink was never empty for... More

Upscale tex-mex in University Park Village near TCU and Ft. Worth zoo. We had delicious food, good service, reasonble spice level, two salsas with chip basket included regular, blue corn and sweet potato tostada chips.

I have been here before and it was really good, so this is where I asked to go for our Valentine's lunch. Wish it would have been better! It was not that busy on Friday but seemed to be understaffed. Our poor waiter was running his legs off. I have to say that chips, salsa and water arrived promptly (and... More

I prefer the more traditional Tex-Mex places, like El Fenix, which has not changed it's recipes since it's early days. Blue Mesa has more California influence in it's menu and seasonings.

We arrived around 10 am were seated immediately. Unfortunately we were seated in the bar and shortly after our arrival there was a rush of people waiting for tables and they all stood in the bar, crowding around our table, preventling us from getting up to return to the buffet without having to say "excuse me", "pardon me" through the... We've been going to Blue Mesa whenever we end up in that area for a museum visit. Don't always get the same thing, but always enjoyed the food. We went to the Kimball today and followed that visit with a trip to Blue Mesa. Don't like Diet Pepsi, so asked for tea. The tea was some horrid concoction. The waitress... More

My family and I had dinner here while we were visiting the Ft. Worth Area. The restaurant is located in a really nice Lifestyle Mall, not too far from TCU. I don't consider myself a real neat freak, but I immediately noticed the menus were kind of dirty. Mine at least, needed to be replaced. We had a queso dip... More

We went here for Sunday brunch last weekend, and it was great. There was so much food! The watermelon juice was one of my favorite things. They had a really good combination of Mexican food and regular breakfast foods. There is an egg station and they'll make you huevos rancheros or omelets made to order. They have waffles, enchiladas, potatoes,... More
