We've been going to Blue Mesa whenever we end up in that area for a museum visit. Don't always get the same thing, but always enjoyed the food. We went to the Kimball today and followed that visit with a trip to Blue Mesa. Don't like Diet Pepsi, so asked for tea. The tea was some horrid concoction. The waitress... More

My family and I had dinner here while we were visiting the Ft. Worth Area. The restaurant is located in a really nice Lifestyle Mall, not too far from TCU. I don't consider myself a real neat freak, but I immediately noticed the menus were kind of dirty. Mine at least, needed to be replaced. We had a queso dip... More

We went here for Sunday brunch last weekend, and it was great. There was so much food! The watermelon juice was one of my favorite things. They had a really good combination of Mexican food and regular breakfast foods. There is an egg station and they'll make you huevos rancheros or omelets made to order. They have waffles, enchiladas, potatoes,... More

Christmas shopping at University Park Village and of course the husband needs to eat to ponder his gift decisions. Based on the choices there we decided to try Blue Mesa. It was Sunday and there was a crowd so we stalked the bar and snagged a couple of spots. Heard about the brunch and the husband scoped it out. I... More

After traveling to Fort Worth for a job interview, my wife and I decided on Bkue Mesa Grill, based on location as well as other reviews and the fact it was not a chain. Upon arriving, I was a bit unsure of it based on its location in a shopping center ( although a nice one). After being seated immediatley,... More

We used to love dining here, a few years ago when things were obviously different. Now, while the service was good, the food was adequate, but not great. The music is definitely out of sync with our style or even with a southwestern theme we believe. Also, whoever decided it was a good idea to secure the rectangular paper menu... More

We had supper here on the way to a convention. Stopped there during happy hour to eat and have a drink. Service was a little slow and I had to send my drink back 2 due to black particles in the bottom of my glass. Had the cheese quesadillas and they were fine but nothing out of the ordinary.

I have been a frequent business traveler to Ft. Worth for over 10 years, and The Blue Mesa Grill on University has been one of my favorite and "must go" stops when I am in town. Saying that the selections are unique, diverse and spectacularly flavored would be an understatement. The mixed Churascaritas plate is a must, and the seafood... More

We went there for sunday brunch and was not disappointed. The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The best sunday brunch I have ever had in cowtown. This restaurant gets my highest recommendation.

Free quesadilla bar on weeknights during happy hour. Great margaritas, and the food is good as well. Sunday brunch is a must.
