Just like I was back in Germany eating with friends

The food was delicious. Authentic and plentiful neither of us could finish our meals. They served a red wine my wife loved and the draft beer was good. It reminded me of eating with friends while I was in Germany. Great place for German food.

I was so impressed by the quality of this food! It is consistently top notch, with a nice place to sit and friendly waiters. This is definitely the best German food in this entire area!!!

Let me start by saying this isn't Lonesome Dove or Saint Emillion, but it isn't meant to be. When my husband and I came here, we were looking for good food, and we found it. The ambiance isn't romantic, and we mainly heard German techno while we dined, but it felt like the little cafés I frequented when visiting Germany.... More

There is no way this is a top restaurant in Antarctica let alone Fort Worth. Clearly the other 16 reviewers are family of owners. Slow service, mediocre food, and dingy digs. Stay away folks, it's a trap.

Very tasty-as always. Four of us all tried different items-all were outstanding, from the always delivcious homemade spatzle, to the Jgerschnitzel and the Marinierter Sauerbraten, to the potato pancakes. We even tried dessert this time and the Vaniia Ice Cream wrap was wonderful.

Yes - this is authentic German food. I grew up in Milwaukee where German food is a religion. The spaetzle was outstanding. HOWEVER - limited options for non-german dishes. Very limited wine list - about 10 wines with nothing special. Our service was lacking. Two orders arrived - then the next 2 - but the last was almost 5 minutes... More

The reviews of this restaurant were what brought us there. It didn't take long for us to determine that the high ratings and superb reviews were all well deserved. I've lived in Germany for more than five years during my life, and I can assure you that this food is unquestionably authentic.

The food was amazing. I had the sausage plate and my friend had the chef special and we shared that along with the potato cakes. Everything was delicious. The chef's wife was our waitress and she was lovely. From the very start she was so sweet and explained to us what everything was on the menu. She also suggested we... More

Pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic German restaurant in Fort Worth. What may be lacking in atmosphere and decor is made up tenfold by the quality of the meals and the personable service by the owners and waitstaff. Recently enjoyed a dinner of goulash, spaetzle, and red cabbage. Also had a delicious bowl of lentil soup. The red cabbage... More

The first time I ate at this restaurant I brought a German student for dinner. I wanted to get his opinion on the food and if it was par to the food he eats at home. Friedrich ordered Schweineschnitzel Paniert (breaded pork loin) with mushroom sauce and Spatzle, I ordered the same. The dinner portion was huge and delicious and... More
