Being raised in a German household I have eaten german food all my life. The food here is as good or better then my grandmothers. We will make a special trip just to eat here. Peter and Vlatka make the entire experience a wonderful evening.

I travel frequently in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, so I was delighted to see this open in my neighborhood in Fort Worth, and it has become one of my 'go-to' spots in town. Their food is consistent, delicious, and authentic. Best menu choices are the Sauerbraten, brats, and 'krautspaetzle' (the last is a German mac & cheese w/ ham, and... More

We celebrated a Halloween Birthday her and as to be expected the restaurant did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the wait staff attentive and it is nice to be able to bring your own wine. The owner's wife came over to our table to ask about our meal and the service. I would recommend the restaurant to any locals... More

We were here in April of 2014 - my parents are friends with the owners- Peter and Vlatka. The food we had ... abundant and wonderful! There wasn't anything we did not like. The potato pancakes were excellent. We all got something different and shared ...it was all sooo good! We had plenty to take home as well. We are... More

Went to dinner on Schnitzel Night, I had the Farmers my companion had the Jaeger, she lived in Germany for many years as I did as a youth. The food is authentic as can be, the dishes prepared very well, value priced, couldn't be beat. We spent the weekend in Fredricksburg visiting the German restaurants for authentic food, but found... The food was delicious. Authentic and plentiful neither of us could finish our meals. They served a red wine my wife loved and the draft beer was good. It reminded me of eating with friends while I was in Germany. Great place for German food.

I was so impressed by the quality of this food! It is consistently top notch, with a nice place to sit and friendly waiters. This is definitely the best German food in this entire area!!!

Let me start by saying this isn't Lonesome Dove or Saint Emillion, but it isn't meant to be. When my husband and I came here, we were looking for good food, and we found it. The ambiance isn't romantic, and we mainly heard German techno while we dined, but it felt like the little cafés I frequented when visiting Germany.... More

There is no way this is a top restaurant in Antarctica let alone Fort Worth. Clearly the other 16 reviewers are family of owners. Slow service, mediocre food, and dingy digs. Stay away folks, it's a trap.

Very tasty-as always. Four of us all tried different items-all were outstanding, from the always delivcious homemade spatzle, to the Jgerschnitzel and the Marinierter Sauerbraten, to the potato pancakes. We even tried dessert this time and the Vaniia Ice Cream wrap was wonderful.
