We were in town and decided to stop at Pappadeaux for lunch before going to our event. We enjoyed our appetizer - sautéed crab fingers with a butter sauce and dirty rice. A nice size appetizer that was perfect for sharing. I decided to try the special - grilled trout with gulf shrimp and sautéed spinach. More butter sauce but... More

I was on a business trip in Fort Worth and went out for dinner the first night with my husband to grab a quick bite. What a pleasant surprise, it was the best fish dinner I have ever had. I had the macadamia encrusted Chilean Sea Bass on top of roasted brussel sprouts and chuncks of crab meat. My husband... More

Came here for lunch. Left full. The food was good. The service was a little slow but the waiter was new. The dirty rice was a little off. That's my favorite here so I always add it to my plate. I'll be back. I need to try something different.

Perhaps a little pricey for lunch everyday, but definitely a treat. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The waiter offered suggestions, answered questions and checked with us often to find out if we wanted or needed anything. The portion sizes were generous, especially considering we ordered off the lunch menu. Unfortunately, I was too full for dessert... More

As with all excellent restaurant's there's always a wait, even if you have reservations and large parties (>6), The wait was worth it and the food was excellent. How they maintain the crowds is always because of an excellent selection of items on the menu. In particular, the always have the catfish which I believe is heavily breaded but is... More

Wonderful place for seafood grilled, broiled or blackened. The happy hour offers great prices on the mini fondeaux, the fried calamari and shrimp po'boy! Their Caesar salad is excellent. The Salmon Alexander and the Alaskan Halibut were excellent and the menu has something for everyone's taste. The food is fresh, beautifully presented and quite large. Very Popular place and always... We took some friends to dinner on A Saturday night. The place was packed, but we didn't have to wait too long for a table. Despite it being so busy, our waitress was cheerful and explained the menu to our friends since it was their first time dining at Pappadeaux. Our food was great and so were the drinks! Our... More

Without reservations we were seated quickly on a Saturday night. The place was full and the staff looked chaotic, but our food was delivered quickly. The food itself was excellent. There were minor missteps with the service that I attribute to the chaotic organization of the staff. Highly recommend the crab cakes!

We hated we were but in the back by the kitchen- heavy traffic and not romantic- ask for a seat somewhere else if that is what you are looking for. Every time we travel to Fort Worth we eat at this location. We love this place and quality of seafood. We love trying new speciality items!
