First let me say we have NEVER had a bad meal at Pappadeaux seafood. The food is good, prepared well, and presented well. Service is less reliable but generally good. The problem with our latest visit is that the prices have gone through the roof. This trip, my wife and I SHARED a crawfish platter which has gone up to... More

maybe crappy service is the new thing? We eat here often an much like uncle Julio s the food is awesome an the service is crap. I mean bad . This time he didn't know the menu and he never came back around for drinks. The busboy was more attentive... we ended up tipping him instead of our waiter. It's... More

My waitstaff Corbitt, ask for him, was friendly and efficient. He recommended a nice house salad with a wonderful mustard dressing and house made croutons . The bread was served piping hot with butter. My entre was a blackened mahi mahi top with shrimp crawdads and sea scallops with a wonderful light and slightly spicy wine sauce. You can get... More

Our group had the greek salad that is always the best! We ordered the seafood platter, fried shrimp and the grilled stuffed shrimp. I can say I have never had a bad meal at Pappadeauxs.

Oysters to die for, Calamari that is top notch tender, Mahi Mahi done to perfection and Chilean Sea Bass that melted in our mouths.. Oh and don't forget the luscious sourdough bread... What more can I add?? Well, great service for a start, from the beginning of our experience to when we left the restaurant and asked for directions to... More

A little hard to find because of road construction, but a nice building, well landscaped--outdoor space would be great with warmer weather. Inside, the decor was a little bit nautical and a little bit New Orleans. The food was fresh, savory, with good-sized portions and a couple of local craft beers on draught topped off an excellent dining experience.

Christmas Eve is a stressful time for most but it proved to be detrimental to the Pappadeaux brand. The hours of operation were to close at 10PM; however, the manager shut the store down at 8:30PM due to the kitchen being insanely backed up and the restaurant being almost out of everything including ketchup of all things which they were... This is a casual dining place with $$$$ prices. I was shocked to see my beloved Ponchetrain is now $30. Even the lunch menu runs avg of $20 and salad is extra. Our waitress was sweet, attentive and NEW!! I abhore Margaritas made with ice in a blender and she was proud to say that their's were all handmade. So,... More
