Best Pappadeaux we've ever visited

We have Pappadeaux where we live, in Houston, so we've visited many locations in the Houston area. We went to this Pappadeaux on a Friday night. The parking lot was packed and we were expecting a very long wait. The quoted us only 20 minutes and we were seated in about 15. We have NEVER been to a... read more

I ate at Pappadeaux on a business trip with my co-workers. First, let me say the food portions were big. You won't be hungry when you leave this restaurant. The decor and atmosphere inside were nice and inviting. The menu prices are high, between $20-$30 for dinner. The lunch menu, which they will serve during dinner, is much better. I... More

Although Ft, Worth is located in Texas Cattle Country this restaurant offers a good seafood menu with a wide variety of selection. I choose the seafood platter and found it to be tasty and adequate in size. Although I prefer broiled seafood, the fried variety proved flavorsome. Being use to Maryland crab cakes I found the Texas version a disappointment... More

We waited for water, we waited for drinks, we waited for bread, we waited for a clean table and we waited for spoons. Patience is great but we were tested at Pappadeaux. The shrimp & grits were super-spicy and fried oysters included a couple of chicken nuggets(would have gone to McDonalds if I want nuggets)! Water was brought to half... More

My wife and I really enjoy the food at Pappadeaux (both the Ft. Worth & Bedford locations), so let's start there. I always have the Shrimp & Crafish Fondeaux appetizer as my main course and it remains my favorite over the years, and is served with garlic bread; while my wife almost always has the Crawfish Etouffee (it's better with... This is absolutely amazing... Everything we ate was delicious, extremely fresh (including the oysters), and very well cooked... You cannot go wrong with this restaurant!!

First let me say we have NEVER had a bad meal at Pappadeaux seafood. The food is good, prepared well, and presented well. Service is less reliable but generally good. The problem with our latest visit is that the prices have gone through the roof. This trip, my wife and I SHARED a crawfish platter which has gone up to... More

maybe crappy service is the new thing? We eat here often an much like uncle Julio s the food is awesome an the service is crap. I mean bad . This time he didn't know the menu and he never came back around for drinks. The busboy was more attentive... we ended up tipping him instead of our waiter. It's... More

My waitstaff Corbitt, ask for him, was friendly and efficient. He recommended a nice house salad with a wonderful mustard dressing and house made croutons . The bread was served piping hot with butter. My entre was a blackened mahi mahi top with shrimp crawdads and sea scallops with a wonderful light and slightly spicy wine sauce. You can get... More

Our group had the greek salad that is always the best! We ordered the seafood platter, fried shrimp and the grilled stuffed shrimp. I can say I have never had a bad meal at Pappadeauxs.
