We wanted to get brunch for 8 people before the TCU/Minnesota game and every place we checked was over an hour wait. We walked in to Paris and got a table in about 6 minutes! Waitresses took our orders quickly; food was good - basic homestyle...even hash and eggs! This coffee shop has the old timey look - with seats... More

This has been one of my favorite places in Fort Worth for a long time. My grandparents took me here when I was younger. It attracts an older crowd but it is still a happening venue for meals. I love the chicken fried steak from here and the mashed potatoes are divine!

This icon cafe is a blast from the past. Home cook'n the way it used to be. You never know who you will see there and during election time, there may be cameras rolling. Oh, pies are not to shabby, either.

Had a horrible lunch at Fort Worth's iconic Paris Coffee Shop. The server seemed like she was bothered by our presence. No smile, no greeting. My wife ordered grilled chicken and it was bad. My sliced barbecue was average at best. If you are going to Paris Coffee Shop, stick with their breakfast.

Today I got 2 eggs, turkey bacon and fried potatoes...excuse me, the politically correct name is "hash browns". The coffee is good and the service is great. I don't go every day because it's too far to drive so it's a special event to eat here. Next time I'm going back for the chocolate pie.

Stopped here today for lunch...(I've had their breakfast in the past which I recommend). Chicken fried steak was good and tender. The gravy was the thickest I've ever had. Fries were par, salad was horrible (nothing more than bagged chopped lettuce), pinto beans seemed straight out of a can. The chocolate pie, however, was fantastic!! My hubby loved his coconut... The Paris Coffee Shop is paradise for many diners like myself that have been eating there for decades. Go for the Turkey and dressing on Monday, the Chicken and Dumplings on Thursday, the Fried Chicken on Friday and you'll think you're in heaven. Ditto on the other days for any of their specials or regulars. Desserts: hands down the best... More

First, the average age of the patrons at this place during lunch is at least 70 yrs old. The place had been here forever and has an old school 1950s vibe (as do most of those getting lunch). The food is really cheap and there's a reason, it really isn't that good. The food is served on a plate with... More

We finally made it to Paris Coffee Shop for lunch after all these years living in the Fort Worth area. It's been around a long time and has been suggested as the place to go when you are near the Magnolia area. Surveying the dining room, we concluded that most of the patrons were regulars; perhaps for 50 years regulars.... More

My husband and I had a great breakfast on Saturday morning at Paris Coffee Shop. We were seated Immediately and had quick service even though the restaurant was packed. Our food was delivered quickly and was very good. No wonder that they have been in business so many years....they provide good food at a reasonable price.
