So my first nice dinner in Ft. Worth, I consulted Tripadvisor. This was near the hotel, so made for an easy decision. We had a great waiter. We started with an app plate, I am not sure if I will talk about what I tried - but now you know - calf balls. Yes. The preparation was so smart -... More

We finished up a meeting late and were planning on going to the Reata to eat, but were exhausted so we called to see if we could order for take-out. My husband ran over to grab the food and it still was on point! The owner was there and was so friendly, service was quick and the food..superior!

I had the house salad followed by Blackened Salmon. The salad was simple but very tasty. The salmon, accompanied by rice and spinach was wonderful. They put a very tasty fruit sauce on the fish and the result was excellent. Good service and very nice venue. A definite thumbs up

There might be a better rtestaurant in downtown Ft. Worth but I doubt it. The food is so good that my Daughter had them cater her wedding. It was excellent as well.

Reata is a must stop for those traveling in the DFW area who want a real Texas dinning experience. Great food, great service, great location with free parking after 5pm on weekends just a block away, and a great vibe with Texas decor. I split the sampler platter with my husband and shared a desert which was plenty of food... More

This a beautiful restaurant with impeccable service. The setting is classic steak house with Texas flair. I was seated quickly without a reservation. That was the good. Now the bad. I ordered a tenderloin which was recommended by my waiter. It was though, chewy, hard to cut, dry, over seasoned and burnt on the outside. It was medium rare as... More

I will preface my review by saying that I am rather particular about restaurants that I choose. I am not a big meat eater, so I prefer restaurants that have more than 1 item on the menu that is not meat or poultry. Nonetheless, Reata was the restaurant chosen for our office Christmas lunch. There were about 12 of us... More

Great bar area with couches and club chairs - good service as well. Food was good, just don't know what all the hype is about. Everyone in our group that had the jalapeno fish said it wasn't even spicy.

Dinner for four with a wonderful Wine list and simply delightful food. Salmon, Pork shank and Elk were our selections. The appetizer of Tenderloin tamales was a perfect pairing!! The restaurant is a little loud if you are looking for conversation, but overall it is a MUST if you are visiting Fort Worth. Reservations recommended
