A taste of Texas...

The food has always been great. It's a treat for those that want to try a formal 'taste' of Texas. The Quail and grits is a must! The service has always been outstanding. The lunch menu is a great deal! We tried the brunch menu for the first time and it was really good. Would like see some of... read more

I brought an out-of-town foodie guest to Reata for dinner and I was so disappointed. The food, all of it - from the bread, the soup to the main course - was just bad. I didn't feel comfortable complaining because I didn't want my guest to feel uncomfortable, but the soup was cold, the bread was stale and the entrée... More

Not a good evening of course until we left Reata's. I specifically made a reservation on open table and let them know it was a special occasion and to make sure my husband got everything he wanted I did not care about anyone else but he needed top notch treatment. His steak was bad he refused to send it back.... More

Always enjoy dining at Reata's. Wonderful food, wonderful service, wonderful atmosphere. Check out the rooftop. And be sure and save room for their killer desserts!!!!

To celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary, I reserved the room in the center of the restaurant that seats ten around a round table. The room is surrounded in glass, softly lit, and quiet. Our family was able to celebrate my parents in a way that allowed everyone to participate in the conversation and where everyone could be heard. Could... More

The last time we ate at Reata's was when it was in the Bank of America building (before the tornado destroyed it). It was just as good as we remember. The service is impeccable and the food is expertly prepared. If you have dietary issues, you might have trouble finding things to eat. I have a gluten and dairy intolerance... More

As other reviewers have reported, the food was exceptionally good. We were here for a business presentation, and the wait staff was awesome. After dinner and the presentation, we walked around the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the hostess who shared historic info with us regarding the building. View from the top is enjoyable as well.

Reata consistently has great food but our visit on my birthday was exceptional! We were there on a Sunday afternoon, my son had chicken fried steak from the brunch menu, husband had shrimp and grits, daughter had tenderloin tacos, and I had blackened tilapia with jalapeno grits. Everything was wonderful! The restaurant was not too busy so we could talk... More

This is a very spacious restaurant with a relaxing and calm environment. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. The food came out in good time and was delicious.

We had reservations for rooftop dining under the stars July 18. What a wonderful, special evening to share with family who were visiting. The food was beyond good, my daughter and I split the Mahi Mahi and a salad. The guys had chicken fried steak and thought it was the best they ever tasted. Our waiter was excellent. There were...
