Nice people, great steak

WE had my rehearsal dinner here. Incredibly attentive, and when the steak was just a little to well for me, they insisted they get it right (it was a banquet and I understood the imprecision--I would have been fine eating it). They cooked me a new one to perfection that is among the finest I have... read more

Our family (2 teens, 6 adults) met at Reata to have a birthday celebration. We had a reservations and were seated promptly upon our arrival. The food could not have been any better. We all ordered different entrees and each was cooked to perfection! Our waiter took great care of all of us at the same time. It's good he... More

Been here numerous times. Just had a great dinner on the rooftop celebrating a friends 40th birthday! Fantastic food and friendly service. We shared the tamale appetizer plate which is always a hit. I had the Mahi Mahi for the first time here and it was perfect. Everyone else got steaks and they raved. Unfortunately we were too full for... More

We spent the night in Fort Worth and Reata was recommended by hotel staff. We were not disappointed! We called and had a reservation. Seated immediately. Staff was friendly and on multiple occasions wished my wife happy birthday. Atmosphere is casual and old Ft. Worth. Great food. Bacon wrapped shrimp very good. Steak a good one! We would go again.

I've eaten at this restaurant often--both here and at the original Reata in Alpine, Texas. At both locations I've experienced excellent service from the servers in a wonderful western decor that makes one feel they have stepped back in time to the wild west--wild in a great way! There are usually lots of folks in western garb which I enjoy... More

We dropped in for a drink between dinner and a show. Found a table - but when I went to the bar to order drinks, the bartender decided to help the person behind me in line because she knew him. "Hi, Frank - what do you want?" Is not what you want to hear when your name isn't Frank and... More

Viridian Development hosted an incredible dinner party last night to celebrate many of the realtors and top sales people of 2015. Even with 100 or so folks, the food was amazing. I "special" ordered (from a pre-determined list of entrees) an extra rare cut of meat, and it was served to perfection. The appetizers were absolutely delicious---including small crab cakes... More

The decor of this historic restaurant allows you to enjoy the elite cattleman's ranch house ambiance. From the rustic saloon bar surrounded by saddles and pictures of real Cowboys and their horses to the wait staff dressed with cowboy hats and chaps, boots make you feel you walked in from the dusty trail ready for a brew and a steak.... I have been here for large groups for business several times over the years. Always tasty food, good wine list. This time was a group of 20 for business, food is tasty, service decent. If this had happened only one time I wouldn't even bothering mentioning it but this is the second time that they did not cook my steak... More
