Head downtown from the Stockyard and eat in an historic restaurant right before Sundance Square. The moment you enter, you know it is where you belong...service is excellent, ambiance is enhanced by decor. Mikey had "stacked enchiladas" and I had "Carne Asada...?" both specialities for lunch. He said one of top 3 places he has eaten.(never sure which he means).... More

A group of us met here for dinner. Even though it was sweltering summer in Fort Worth, the rooftop bar was nice for a pre-dinner drink. We almost melted in the elevator, but it was worth the ride. We were seated in a private room, and had excellent service. The wait staff was efficient, but not too overbearing. Do not... More

Reata is located in the tourist area of Sundance Square and is very convenient to hotels. The decor is a really heavy dose of Texas decor - lots of wood and leather. Wait staff are dressed in black western shirts. We were there for an early dinner and wanted something light. Since the portions were very large we asked to... More

Our younger daughter and her husband treated us to a 40th anniversary celebration at Reata and then treated my wife to a birthday celebration here. Both were well done with excellent food and marvelous service. But today was just lunch for my wife and myself. Judy ordered the feature salad for the day with its home made dressing, and I... More

Let me just get this out if he way, they have friendly staff and our service was great! Waiter was patient and friendly. I was asking for some stuff on the side and he was accommodating and super nice about it. They do need a better bar tender cause we ordered a classic mixed drink (Tom Collins) and that wasn't... The service is superb. The food is perfection on a plate. The drinks we tried, one of a kind. Our waiter was so pleasant and had no problems telling us about the menu, the drinks, the restaurant itself. Love that! I started out with the wedge salad and the cilantro dressing was so dang good. My main course was the... More

Always good food and service at this place. Makes you feel like you are stepping back into cowboy days and we really like the rooftop area to look over historic downtown Fort Worth while having dinner.

We went on a Thursday night to the rooftop patio. Of course we just missed happy hour but it was a perfect night and it was a beautiful night. Very lovely up on the roof. We weren't sure if we were going to eat but when my husband saw the steaks....he was ALL IN. They looked delicious. They had some mixed... More

Really pleased with the atmosphere, my mahi mahi, cream brûlée dessert and exceptional service by Kamryn. My first trip and I was pleased. I will return.
