We recently visited H3 on our trip to Northern Texas for the national championship game. H3 was a great first stop. In the heart of historic Ft. Worth stock yards, this 1800's western oasis has great steaks and BBQ. The hickory smoked pork ribs were simply amazing. A pronounced hickory smoked flavor, followed by a sweet glaze and a hot-spicy... More

When visiting friend in Dallas we scheduled a day trip to the Ft Worth Stockyards with the intention of satisfying my craving for Texas BBQ Brisket. H3 Ranch was recommended by our tour guide and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere is entertaining and nostalgic of the Old West, and the Buffalo Butt Bar is really a great addition. We... Had to have a Texas Steak. What favor. It was so big we split it. They serve you a hot loaf of home made bread, fresh salad and corn on the cob. You could keep warm by the fire they were grilling your steaks. If you were just having some friendly drinks your stool would be a horse saddle. Attached... More

It is right in the middle of the Stockyards, the decor is lovely. The service was just ok, they actually mixed up our steaks. It wasn't a big issue so we didn't say anything but I'm sure they would have rectified it if I had asked but I was to hungry to wait for another steak. There are plenty of... More

I had lunch with a friend and loved it!! We split the pork tacos and both enjoyed them. The fajita shrimp salad and rainbow trout was so good!!

I was in the stockyards and what better place to stop off for a terrific meal than the H3 Ranch! After combing through their comfort menu I settled on the brisket with beans and coleslaw. Combined with a Rahr beer, it went down a treat. It's the best brisket I've had in Fort Worth. I also need that beans recipe!... More

The steak could practically be cut with a butter knife and melt in your mouth. Table side freshly made guacamole was great! Beer service was great! Nice atmosphere.

We have been to this restaurant numerous times, and have brought friends and family every time someone visits us from out of state/out of the country. This is not only a great restaurant but also a great authentic sightseeing spot. It is almost always full, no matter the time of the day, so make sure you reserve a table. The... More

Found this place walking by . Glad we stopped . Pleasant setting and ambience. Plucked for the porterhouse which was well seasoned and cooked superbly. A little more expensive but in its defence its in a tourist area with competition all around. Give this place a try there won't be regrets.
