Beautiful warm atmosphere in the heart of the stockyards. Friendly staff and amazing menu, open kitchen/grill with plank roasted salmon and steaks. Big salads.

My family and I (3 of us) had 2 steak dinners and a chicken fried steak dinner (yummy), appetizer, and drinks. The bill for the 3 of us was almost $120 before tip. And, we ordered conservatively too. Great food, but be prepared to pay.

I had heard great things about this place so maybe my expectations were too high, but I was not impressed. To start, the hostesses were unsmiling and borderline rude. I felt like I was bothering them by checking in. The waiter was ok but not very attentive. We had a party of 5 and they used what appeared to be... More

Two of us had dinner reservations for 6pm on a Friday evening. We valet-parked the car and arrived shortly before 6 and were seated promptly. The waiter was prompt and pleasant; our drinks arrived quickly, our order was taken, and our food arrived fairly quickly and was well prepared and presented. We both enjoyed the smoked sirloin, which was very... More

Anytime I have to flag a staff person down to ask if we have a waiter, I know we're in for a mediocre experience. We were seated quickly and then watched staff chatting at the host stand while we looked around for our server. Ten minutes later we flag someone down and eventually find our server who was stuck talking... More

It has been a few years since I ate at H3 Ranch. I remembered that the food was EXCELLENT. When we took our young daughters to the Stockyards today to see some cowboys, we decided to eat lunch here. The food is STILL amazing! We started with the 9 Mile dip - basically a seven layer dip (refried beans, sour... More

Two people can have a very good steak and a couple of glasses of wine for $100 dollars. I take friends from out of town especially during the week. It gets very busy on the weekends, but you won't disappointed.

You won't leave disappointed. Everythng was perfect. Pancakes are incredibly filling as they have oatmeal mixed in. I believe breakfast is only served Sat and Sunday, and before noon. Not to be missed.

I have been to the H3 several times and I have never been disappointed. There is a nice fireplace and the whole place smells great. If your feeling brave go to the bar and get a piece of the fruit soaking in tequila.... That'll wake you up... Or set you down. Great place highly recommended.

Very probably the best catfish I have ever eaten, but the $20 price tag (including tip) will make this a very rare treat. Also, it tasted like it was deep fried in lard, and that gave me some indigestion, later. My impression is that they're not interested in a lot of return business.
