This is a beer and hamburger hangout. I made the mistake of trying the special of the day -- smothered steak. The meat had turned. The sides were ok. My husband loved the hamburger and wanted to go back again the next day. Probably a fun happy hour as they have a large upstairs outside patio. more

Was in town for a business trip and the concierge at the hotel recomended this place for a cold beer and a good band. He was definitely right. Beer and Burgers were great, sat outside and listened to a great little blues band on a Wednesday night. more

If you are looking for a good time, Fred's is the place. Outdoor seating available- bands often- and the beers are nice and cold.
