Ate here more often before it burned down. Since it has returned it seems awfully crowded even though it did a boomong business before. The Fred Burger is award winning. Can get a rib eye steak that is rather spicy and a bit pricy but worth every penny. Need to ask the wait person about it because it is not... more

This is a beer and hamburger hangout. I made the mistake of trying the special of the day -- smothered steak. The meat had turned. The sides were ok. My husband loved the hamburger and wanted to go back again the next day. Probably a fun happy hour as they have a large upstairs outside patio. more

My son and I went to Fred's on a Sunday afternoon. I saw this diner on Diners, Driveins and Dives on the food network. Place inside very small found a booth. The waitress Lindsey very nice. The patio was nice Would go back and sit on the patio when it gets a little cooler. Burger was great loved the blue... more

Was in town for a business trip and the concierge at the hotel recomended this place for a cold beer and a good band. He was definitely right. Beer and Burgers were great, sat outside and listened to a great little blues band on a Wednesday night. more

Long line on a Saturday night, wife didn't want to wait. Food looked amazing, we stood inside for a few minutes, no one acknowledged us, it looked like they were really busy. They had some seating outside, but she didn't want any of that either because of the weather. I wish we would have stayed, if it was just me,... more

For lunch we decided to eat here with a small group of about 8. It was good! We had burgers and fries with a cold beer and it was great! Nothing fancy and really small but I would eat there again! more

If you are looking for a good time, Fred's is the place. Outdoor seating available- bands often- and the beers are nice and cold. Picnic table set up outside allows good place for groups of family & friends to enjoy. The food is good if you are looking for your unhealthy fix that is so good yet so bad. Not... more

I've been going to Fred's for years and that's given me the pleasure to see it evolve from a little hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon to... a little bit bigger hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon with a more ecletic menu... and a full bar! Terry's still there in his boots and hat and he's got to be one of the most enthusiastic and friendly... more

Fred's is a neat little place in ft. worth. The lamb stew was awesome, although the carrots were still raw. The homemade blue cheese was the best (restaurant) homemade blue cheese I have ever had. I got the half-pound cheeseburger and fries, the burger was overcooked, but it was still good. My husband got the ribeye. The steak was also... more

Saw it on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" on the Food Network, found myself in Fort Worth on business, so I stopped in. I wasn't blown away by a welcome, but like any good joint, the staff warmed quickly. Had the Diablo burger and sucked down a couple of cold ones. Got back to my hotel room that evening, way over... more
