We were regular customers at this restaurant for a long while. We visited Thursday 04/17/2014 for there Chicken Fried Steak special as usual, but this time the steak and the cinnamon bun were much smaller than usual. They were having another special about a free meal if you had a text sent to you and the place was packed like... More

On a personal business trip to Fort Worth, I met up with a younger sister and her husband and headed out to another restaurant just outside of Fort Worth. It turned out that the destination restaurant was closed, so, on a whim, we stopped at Ginger Brown's. We'd heard about the Cinnamon rolls. This time luck was on our side... More

I just would like to let someone know that today was the worst experience my family and I had ever had eating out. There were 5 of us and it took over an hour to receive our food. I had a Groupon, and a checkout was told "it was a holiday" and could not use it! I could understand if... More

We have eatten here many time and always enjoyed it. It is good home cooking. If you want diet food don't come here. The wait staff is friendly and always busy. We have taken many friends to this restaurant. It is always a hit! Don't leave without having or taking home dessert. The pies are delish--especially the coconut cream.

Had family take us for breakfast, the place was very busy but only waited a few minutes. Sarah our server was very accommodating and professional. Portions were huge food was very good even though my mother in law whined that her bacon was not crisp enough... but she did not order it extra crisp. Every one worked as a team.... More

Ive had lunch here several times and it's been ok. I really enjoyed the fried chicken grits, Forever chicken is very tasty with huge portion but sides are ok. Great service, Lulu (waitress ) is awesome and always recommends to something good. It's very home style and lots of grandma/ grandpas dinners.

Nice waitresses with funtastic outlook on life. Food is average but they have a shopping mall parking lot that can accommodate trucks with trailers. I eat here about 2 times a year before RB auction.

We have been here many times for breakfast which is fabulous! We went this time for dinner and were not disappointed. The service was great and so was the food. You even get one of their famous cinnamon rolls included in the price of the meal.

Very disappointed in the "incorrect" patty melt. The bread was barely toasted, the burger was dry and it had American cheese on marbled rye. Any self respecting restaurant should know that a patty melt is a nice juicy patty with Swiss cheese and sautéed onions on seeded rye that's been griddled. Two other people at the table at chicken fried... More

Went to this restaurant twice in one week. Although the food may not have been tops for all dishes, I know they put their heart and price into it! A great place to experience with its collection of cookie jars and "good ole Texas environment", but the magic is the waitresses! Socks wears knee-high socks, another has a wonderful welcoming...
