Cute place, nice staff and awesome Cinnamon Rolls!!!!

I’m not from Texas. I’ve only been to the south twice. I’m from Nevada. In Nevada we don’t generally see portions of food larger than our dinner tables and we don’t order sweet tea. We don’t have fun names for food and we don’t have a love for grease. I am not writing this review from a... read more

I took my granddaughter for a late lunch yesterday. She said is was the best food she has had in a long time. I use to take her mom there. It was our favorite stop going or coming from the lake. The food is always good, the service however hit and miss.

My family and I recently ate at Ginger Brown's for dinner for the first and last time. The food was mediocre, at best, atmosphere a little depressing and cleanliness questionable. Service was pretty good...that was the only highlight. I got the vegetable plate and everything except the mashed potatoes were bland and needed salt/seasoning. The macaroni and cheese might have... My wife and i stopped there on the way back from an event and had a really good lunch. The only issue we has was that she ordered the Fried Liver and got Chicken Fried Steak instead. Our server seemed a bit distracted, but other than that, the food was delicious, fresh, and hot. The dinner rolls are amazing, especially... More

Love the home town friendly atmosphere. The food is home style cooking too. AND with your dinner you get one of the signature, huge, yummy cinnamon rolls, hot out of the oven.

Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Its in a strip mall. Inside looks like grandmas house. They have a collection of cookie jars all over the wall. I had the chicken livers and they were great.

This is Texas comfort food at its best. You can buy the cinnamon rolls by the dozen and leave room for a piece of pie. I have had chicken fried steak served with dinner rolls that were fresh out of the oven. The West begins here.

I've alway's loved the home cooking here. I love their chicken and you are safe with the sides. When I crave good ole southern cooking and don't want to cook it myself. This is where I go. I don't like cinnamon but love their fresh and hot cinnamon rolls. Always check Groupon for a coupon to get a great deal.

What a fun little place to enjoy breakfast! We were a large group and they got us seated quickly, got our orders taken right away and served a wonderful meal. Some of our group went back the next day. Great job!!

I have been here many, many times. It is a favorite among the locals and you don't leave hungry. But it does get pack in the prime dining rushes.
