Nice place, good people, good food

How do YOU like your "aigs"? Ginger Brown's is a great down home place, with good food. We've been there a few times for breakfast, and have tried a few different dishes. All have been very good. Don't forget to try the cinnamon rolls - and if you're paying attention you might just be able to... read more

I cannot determine if the food was terrible or just the service. We got cold nasty food by a bad server. With higher than ambient temperature who knows if it would actually taste good. It was bad enough I won't make the trip to find out.

This place used to have made from scratch food. Now it looks like it is open up a can and serve it. Food looks like it was made this AM and never remade fresh throughout the day.

Been here several times in the last five years. Most recent visit was with daughter Allison and grandson Evan. This time I ordered the CFS lunch special with mashed potatoes and blackeyed peas. Allison had the patty melt with fries, and Evan opted for the child's chicken tenders with fries. Both the steak and chicken were too heavily battered. My... More

This restaurant was in a plaza near our hotel. We walked around and saw that this place was the busiest so we tried. The rice and chicken was tasty and the best we ever had.

Normally I would give Ginger Brown's a high rating. This is a loving, giving restaurant -- offering free meals on one's birthday, meals to Vets on Veteran's day, to fathers on Father's day, etc. It's home cooking, which has always been good, and the meals come with a big warm fresh cinnamon roll AND a dinner roll. Breakfast is served... More

From the time you walk in they take great care of you. Lastly you finish with a cinnamon roll. I like their chicken livers. My associate have the chicken. The veggies are very good too. I go any time I am in the area.

I wanted to get something different for breakfast since we were staying at a nearby hotel so I went to Ginger Brown's for takeout Cinnamon Rolls. I asked for a dozen and was told, "Honey, we sell them buy 9-get 9 free," which you have got to love. I think it was $11 for the two boxes. The cinnamon rolls... More
