I really wanted home cooking but that is not what I got! I ordered the pot roast and this is what they brought me cubed boiled potatoes, sliced cooked carrots, and roast with canned brown gravy poured over it. Pot roast is usually cooked with the vegetables. Other members of my party were okay with their food. Service was great,staff... More

If you love home cooking, butter drenched yeast rolls, and cinnamon rolls WITH dinner, you've got to eat at Ginger Brown's. The breakfast can't be beat and it's served all day. You'll also love favorites like chicken fried steak, black-eyed peas, Mac and cheese, and jalapeño hush puppies. Fun atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and Lu Lu Bingo on Mondays. What's... More

My 3yr old`s syrup had hair in it. My wife`s gravy was filled with green beans. The waiter had no idea what he was doing and would talk to himself in front of us. He alone made the experience very uncomfortable. We did not finish our meals and will not be going back.

We stopped here on a family trip through Dallas. We were greeted upon arrival by LuLu, who was friendly and very welcoming after a long day in the road. We enjoyed having veggies and Texas country cooking.

On the recommendation of my brother-in-law we had breakfast at Ginger Brown's this morning. The special was 2 eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, and 2 pancakes for $6.99. In addition, it was Ginger Brown's 50th birthday, so if you wished her a happy birthday (@ check out), you got a free cinnamon roll. All the good was great, but those cinnamon... More

Our party of 3 visited the restaurant at 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Restaurant was busy but we were able to sit at a table right away. We were approached immediately upon arriving, and staff was very attentive. The menu has many wonderful options. There is a daily special available, as well as combo items. It was our first... More

Located in a strip mall. Popular restaurant -- It was a little crowded/noisy, but food made it well worth it. Had some eggs (cooked perfectly) with some fresh fruit and a biscuit. Took a cinnamon roll to go...delicious! Not too pricey either!

Food is very good and fast service. Like going to grandma's house for dinner. Comfort food at its best. Could use a little updating. Clean and neat. Plastic plants need to leave.

This was our 2nd stop here at Ginger Browns after the Texas Race and on our way home. We had the $5 chicken fried steak, green beans and mashed potatoes. My hubby and I both thought it was just average, nothing special but the price! We'd eat it again though. We really came for the cinnamon rolls which to our... More
