Absolutely loved this restaurant. While the menu may seem simple, the food is something to write home about. They make great guacamole, salsas, and margaritas... and are not shy about keeping the food and drinks flowing. The atmosphere is something special...you feel like you are in another world. We went there on a Friday night at about 9pm and the... More

So glad we met a local friend for this fun Ft. Worth dining experience. When we arrived, I thought, oh no, it's packed. There were so many cars. I thought for sure there's be a wait. But, the outdoor seating area is huge! We were seated right away and enjoyed the margaritas, chips, nachos and our dinners. So much food.... More

We love to go to eat here when we are in Ft. Worth. Atmosphere is good. Food is great Watch and see if a celebrity comes in. Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne used to eat there. How could they be wrong. Cash only, they take my check, and there is an ATM. Nice patio area that lots of people enjoy.

Ft. Worth institution for Mexican food. Great outdoors seating, botanical gardens with numerous fountains - very nice. Very limited menu; very average. People go because of tradition, great outdoor atmosphere - NOT because it's even close to great food. Service is ok. Amazed to see that after 30+ yrs since I first went there (haven't gone here in 5+ yrs... More

This place has the worse Tex Mex in Fort Worth Texas. In fact, the only good thing about the whole place is that the outdoor patios are pretty. Other than that---------don't waste your time.

I grew up with this restaurant and was back visiting with family. I love the way they only specialize in 2 items family style. Tons of food and we had a great server.

Eight of us, from my wife's family, went to Garcia's for a Mexican food feast. The wait staff was very attentive and efficient. Food is served family style on big plates so everyone can dive in. The food was so-so, covered with the notorious cheap orange cheese that is all too common in Mexican restaurants. The shocker came with the... More

While on a business trip, my coworker raved about Joe T's and dragged me there. Thinking I was getting typical "tex-mex", boy was I surprised! With a very, very limited menu (2 options), the food was certainly something to rave about. I was deliciously surprised by the quality of the food, the excellent beverages, and fantastic service. And can we... More

The waitress impressed us by taking the drink orders from 17 people at our table and not writing anything down, then returning to serve them without a mistake.
