Joe T. Garcia's has been a iconic Mexican restaurant in Ft. Worth since the 1930s. The menu is limited to a few items, but those items are not too expensive, and the food is very good. Even better than the food, though, are the patios and gardens that stretch throughout the premises. Flowers, fountains, pools, gazebos, trees, shrubs, pottery, stonework,... More

Joe T Garcia's is a Ft Worth monument, one of TexMex royalty along with Pulidos and the Original. It isn't the best TexMex in town, but it remains very good and is an especially fine time with a large group out on the ginormous patio when the weather is nice and beer and margaritas are flowing. Time was a lot... More

Have eaten here a few different times when in Fort Worth on business. Some people may be put off by the lack of menu and limited selection - but that doesn't bother me, and the food you get is plentiful and very good. The fajitas are great, and the the salsa is top notch. My main beef is that even... More

We arrived around 4. We had to wait for a table, which is fine. The hostess was nice. We were seated at a large table. We have been here several times for lunch. We thought it was strange that we weren't given a menu. We were given chips and salsa. They were good. Elaina, our waitress came over to take... More

No menus. Pick enchiladas or fajitas (beef or chicken). Margaritas are pretty good. Most of the seating is outside in a beautiful garden and it's ok even on a hot evening because there is plenty of shade. I wouldn't call this authentic Mexican or even good tex mex but it's an authentic experience worth doing. All dishes come with the... More

Joe T's remains our favorite Mexican restaurant among all the one's we have visited throughout the Southwest, and we have visited a great many. However, there are things people should be aware of.. They take only cash, and I believe have only two choices on the menu - the enchilada dinner and fajitias. This is not a problem for us... More

We were in town for a Convention and my Boyfriend had found this restaurant here on TA. We went with 4 others. Luckily they were aware of the no menu cash only. The dinner options were the enchiladas or fajitas. The enchiladas came with 2 enchiladas, 2 tacos and 2 nachos. The nachos were on chalupa size tostadas with melted... More

This place is awesome when it comes to the dinning experience. The space is beautiful, the staff is friendly, the margaritas are the best in town, and the food is superb. Two things you need to know when visiting however. They only take cash and the do no not split checks for the table (don't know for sure if this... More

We had lunch there on 8/9/14 around 12:30pm. It was packed but the 4 of us were seated right away. The atmosphere felt like you were in little Mexico. All of the staff members were very nice and I think we were even greeted at the door by the owner/manager. You could tell the refried beans were cooked with lard... More

I would not spend my money at this restaurant. As a Hispanic I am very dissatisfied that this over rated restaurant is robbing everyone from eating and tasting authentic Mexican food. Their menus state fajita plates, and in fact its skirt "steak" not fajita. Don't get me wrong the place is beautiful but to maybe have drinks, guacamole and chips... More
