Uncle Julio's parking lot is full every weekend for a reason. They have consistently great Mexican food. We've frequented Uncle J's for years and I've never had a bad meal. The fajita meals are generous and the meat tender and flavorful, served with freshly made tortillas and other sides including borracho beans and Uncle J's roasted salsa. The sour cream... More

Camp Bowie Blvd. is easy for me to get to. Their fajitas are great, And my favorite thing is their shrimp Cozumel. Only thing that bugs me is that the price of their margarita swirls has at least doubled since I started going there. So now I drink iced tea or water.

Working outside of Texas, I miss being able to pop into Uncle Julio's several times a week. There is no Mexican food to be had where I am working so the first thing I do when I am back in Fort Worth is head to the Best Mexican Restaurant there is Uncle Julio's! Everything is Wonderful here from the drinks... More

Visited Uncle Julio's on Sunday evening (Aug 31) about 6:30. Ordered fajitas for one. When they arrived, the flank steak was sliced the wrong way, thus making it tough as a boot and it was way over cooked. The few beans that were in the bowl were hard as rocks; it was mostly, chunks of tomato with juice and not... More

We tried Uncle Juilo's for the first time after positive recommendations from friends & we were not disappointed. The chips were very good, and definitely recommend the guacamole & queso appetizer. All the food items were had were very well prepared and tasted great.

For years this has been my favorite restaurant in Fort Worth. If you follow my reviews, you know I'm gluten free. That is an issue at this restaurant since the things I order, the restaurant says aren't gluten free, but I've eaten them for years without issue. I think they have the best chips and salsa in town and I... More

The menu has changed since I was here a year ago. Prices have gone up and many of my favorites have come off the menu. Locals still come here in droves for the food and the service is always top notch. We will be back as well.

You'll want to try their swirled margarita. The place is lively and the staff it great. It's located off Camp Bowie so there is both car watching and people watching to do here.

Great Service. but parking sucks. Really have no choice but to valet if there are more than 10 cars in lot.

It had been over 20 years since I had been to Uncle Julios, but The margaritas are still great. The prices were more expensive than I expected, it cost $50 to get out of there for two people, and we spilt one $5 drink. Good food, I wish I had gotten just the chicken Fajitas instead of the beef/Chicken combo.... More
