A nice dinner

Based on Trip Advisor reviews I chose to treat my wife at Aventino's this year for Valentine's Day and was not disappointed. At first glance from the outside the place doesn't scream stop here to eat, but the inside was well kept, clean and neat, the staff was welcoming. My wife was greeted with a single stem red rose by... More

Don't miss both the great food from old family recipes run by the second generation of this great Fort Worth restaurant tradition. Not pretentious, just good food at a great value. Don't skip the lasagna or your be missing a special treat.

We hadn't been to Aventino's since they changed location. The new decor is much more elegant. I always order Carbonate if it is on the menu, and a lazy restaurant adds bacon to an Alfredo sauce. This was an excellent flavor and very tasty. My husband had the Shrimp Diablo and enjoyed it. We will be going back.

A second generation Fort Worth restaurant with a very inventive chef and alway courteous service. The menu is diverse, but I suggest giving full attention to the special of the day!

I wanted a treat and chose this place. It was a good choice. The atmosphere is nice without being stuffy. The staff was polite and didn't hover. The menu had interesting choices beyond traditional Italian. I selected ravioli with mushrooms, artichoke hearts and pine nuts. (Ravioli Carciofi) The sauce was a bright green which was a bit of a shock... More

We arrived a little early for dinner and were greeted at the door by the chef. Lots of choices on the menu. We started with garlic bread, which was both flavorful and plentiful. For our entree we had the special, which was chicken cacciatore. We were not disappointed. The boned chicken was so tender. It was perfect with the pasta... More

I have mixed feelings about Aventino. The dining hall is very pleasant, the wait staff cordial. No complaints there. The food though hit both high and low notes. I started with the focaccia which was delicious. Then on the waiter's advice, I tried the spaghetti Bolognese..... The sauce was bland and runny. That is the issue with this particular sauce,...
