We stopped in for a couple beverages and there were several waiters on the floor. I have to say we could not get worse service. The manager walked by multiple times without any concern if the customers were enjoying their worst service. We got fries as a little snack usually they are great but they were drenched with oil and... More

For lunch, flies were terrible and the manager was totally unable to handle the situation -- flies nor the customer. Food was ok but nothing else was ok.

Went here last night with coworkers and I didn't think it was very special. Seating is mostly booths with few tables and it was full, but I don't want to smell fish when I walk into a restaurant. Ordered the ribeye with greens (slightly wilted spinach). Coworkers had tuna salad and pork ribs. Service was ok, but needs improvement. The... More

I met a business colleague for lunch on Monday. I was impressed by the sense of arrival entering the restaurant, then the outstanding staff. Great varied menu and the food was superb. I think everyone who visits this restaurant needs to have a deviled egg as an appetizer!! Unbelievable. The service was excelent!!!

I met my son at The Tavern on Tuesday night. It wasn't too busy but I know it is on the weekends. We were immediately greeted and we gave our drink order to the waiter. We did not order alcoholic beverages but they are served here. There are TV's set strategically in case you want to watch sports but we... More

Easter Sunday is never a good time to try out a new restaurant especially when one has their 87 year old parents in tow. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at The Tavern. I had reserved a table but the noise level was a tad too much for us so we opted to wait a couple minutes for... More

My wife and I took my daughter, son-in-law and new grandson to The Tavern for dinner last Sunday night for a holiday dinner. We had not been there before but relied on my daughter's recommendation for dinner. Even crowded, the service was very good for the dinner portion of the evening (explain that in a minute). Mike and I had... More

As I sit here looking at this beautiful restaurant from the bar table I can see directly in to the kitchen. As the manager stands by watching I see countless employees pick their noses, run their fingers through their hair, touch their faces and then handle food and clean silverware. The were drinking out of cups and then running food.... More

Wide variety of choices. Our party enjoyed delicious pork ribs, brisket tacos, crab cake salad. Reservations are highly recommended on weekends. Check out their menu online.

Let me start by saying that we have been tavern customers since they opened. The food is phenomenal and I have never really had a "bad" experience until Sunday the 29th. 11 of us went to celebrate my birthday. We showed up at 10 to avoid a busier time and got the worst service I have ever gotten. Granted, the... More
