Thin Crust Wood Fired Pizza and More

Great little place in an up and coming area near the Museum District. Good food. I Had the lamb sausage with smoked provolone. It had good flavor and a nice little kick at the finish. Full bar. Groovy interior. Could stand a wider range of craft beers but the few on tap are good.

My husband and I were looking for someplace new to go for lunch on a Sunday and went to Thirteen Pies. Our waiter was so personable and friendly and took really good care of us without interrupting us. We shared the house salad with was perfect and really good with fresh beets and shaved regiano cheese. My husband ordered pasta... More

The food was good but small portions. The server took very good care of us and the atmosphere was nice.

It can be difficult to get seated (timely) but the food is cooked and served well with traditional (Italian) ingredients & style. It's one of the more authentic pizza places in the Metroplex using traditional crusts rather than the very thick doughy ones the larger chains favor. The cocktails are worth trying too, a great selection. Boy did I have... More

Only the name has changed. Food, service and atmosphere still very good to excellent. You will find something to please everyone in your party from their small menu. We love the Caesar salad(not on the menu so ask for it), the meatballs appetizer and the pasta with Bolognese sauce entree. The pizza is only okay, in my opinion. It's too... More

We almost missed this place. The entrance is set back from the street and not obviously signed. But very glad we found it, as the choices were creative, the service good, and ambiance modern and comfortable with lots of wood and metal and cushy booths and seats. After much deliberating, we ordered the parma prosciutto and the Iberian (fennel salami!).... More

Always like trying a new and interesting cocktail here! Had "Fall Dram" this time-a delicate mix of bourbon, allspice dram, and a few other highly potent things. Definitely a sipping drink! Had a pizza with their house made spice sausage...the BEST! A pizza gives six slices and it is plenty for two! We ate at the bar and the service... More

Fireside Pies has been acquired by Thirteen Pies. This is some of the best thin crust pizza we have had in Fort Worth. No thick crust or deep-dish here. Twelve pizza choices on the regular menu and one constantly changing 13th pie on the chalk board. Everything we have tried here has been very good. The menu is not extensive... More
