Excellent!

I stopped in with my family to eat while in Fort Worth. The ambiance of the place was great and the food was really great. The owner and his staff were very warm and took excellent care of us. If you love Japanese food/sushi this is the place to go!

Shinjuku Station is a Japanese tapas place. The menu is small but very diverse from sushi to several cooked items, even some you cook at your table. They can bring hot stones or a small grill to your table, or they will cook it for you. They are great at making recommendations and guiding you through the dining experience or... More

Once you find the restaurant, you will be surprised that what could by all appearances be a bar, or steak house, is a Japanese restaurant with pictures on the wall of Shinjuku station in Tokyo. The waite staff are young, and wearing jeans, as you might expect in a town with a large university. However, the food, is well prepared,... More

I had just gotten back from Tokyo japan specifically the shinjuku area and wanted to compare the food to the real thing in japan. The atmosphere was nice and we had a friendly waiter that was very helpful. The food was good but didn't taste like it did in japan. It was also very expensive think I spent about $80... More

This is far and away my favorite Japanese restaurant in the DFW area. It isn't exactly what I expected the first time I dined here, but maybe that was a good thing. Go with a friend and share a variety of sushi and small plates. The gyoza is actually fresh, not the frozen crap used at most restaurants. Great sushi,... More

I've eaten here many times, and although I really enjoy the food, what I like best is the gracious, welcoming, relaxing atmosphere and service. Although this restaurant is named for a train station, you'll probably leave calmer than when you arrived. My current favorite (I've always gone for lunch) is the chicken karaage rice bowl, which is excellent. You can... More

Went to spend part of evening at Shinjuku Station on the patio, it was very enjoyable. Well shaded, cobblestone flooring, and nicely landscaped. The service was great, and food very well prepared and tasty. A good value. The custom cocktails were delicious, but they ran out of ingredients on the cocktail, then ran out of a menu item. And nothing... More

Best authentic sushi experience in town. They have resisted the urge to Americanize their sushi rolls and keep the flavor authentic. Love the flavor. Very prompt and polite service.

Having lived in Tokyo for 6 years, I was really looking forward to trying this "authentic" place. The ambience is great although I wouldn't call it izekaya (izekayas are loud with low tables). I was craving okonomiyaki and agedashi tofu and instantly ordered the 2. We also ordered a serve of the tok fries (a creation of theirs and not... More

This place was super. The stir fried edemame are a must have...I wish I had 2 more bowls of them they were so good. Hamachi roll came out next and was just as delicious as our great waitress said they would be. The fish collar was the super highlight (it takes about 20 min to prepare so order first), it... More
