Best authentic sushi experience in town. They have resisted the urge to Americanize their sushi rolls and keep the flavor authentic. Love the flavor. Very prompt and polite service.

Having lived in Tokyo for 6 years, I was really looking forward to trying this "authentic" place. The ambience is great although I wouldn't call it izekaya (izekayas are loud with low tables). I was craving okonomiyaki and agedashi tofu and instantly ordered the 2. We also ordered a serve of the tok fries (a creation of theirs and not... More

This place was super. The stir fried edemame are a must have...I wish I had 2 more bowls of them they were so good. Hamachi roll came out next and was just as delicious as our great waitress said they would be. The fish collar was the super highlight (it takes about 20 min to prepare so order first), it... More

I was visiting family who are great fans of sushi. This was a place where sushi was a specialty. And it didn't disappoint. While I am not such a big fan of sushi, I ordered one of the rice bowls and it was quite good. The seating is in a location that is long and narrow, so noise is kept... More

Wonderful sushi and great service. King crab roll is beyond yummy! The atmosphere is cozy but trendy. Good selection of cocktails and beer.

I love this place! It is not your typical sushi restaurant. I have eaten here multiple times over the past two or three years. The food is delicious and there is an entire separate gluten free menu. The entire staff has been trained on how to carefully and properly handle the gluten free meals, etc. to avoid cross contamination. The... More

I won't call out the other sushi places I've tried in Fort Worth, but the sushi I had at Shinjuku was WAY fresher tasting. Perfection: -Hamachi kama! (See photo) -Not your everyday menu items, great variety (from beef tongue to black sesame ice cream!) -Unique cocktails (cuberry tini!) -Nice location on Magnolia, free parking unlike most of downtown/Sundance Square -Patio... This place is hot right now. It's a favorite place of young people to see and be seen. There is a lot of atmosphere both inside and out. The drinks are innovative and so are many of the menu items. Two of my favorite non-sushi items are the pork belly pizza and the mussels with brown butter and sake. Service... More

We were invited to a fixed menu Omakase style dinner. We were fortunate to sit at the sushi bar and got to spend several hours talking to Nick one of the chefs which makes for a good time. Don't go there expecting typical Texas sushi , the team at Shinjuku provide you with a good chance to stretch yourself and... More

I was pleasantly surprised with this small restaurant off Magnolia. I am not a sushi fan, but the food here made me think twice about sushi. I had the healthy bento box which had fresh fruit, cucumber rolls, crab rolls, a salad with a fantastic ginger dressing, and tuna and salmon sushi. We started with edemame which was perfectly steamed. The... More
