Great place for brunch

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Went with my son and his girl friend for brunch. Unbelievable setting with the glass walls and view of the reflection pool. All of our meals were excellent and creative. Service was attentive and helpful.

My wife and I went in for dinner after a hard week. We received disappointing news earlier in the day so we needed a place to unwind and recover. The museum backdrop is a unique experience. The water, steel and stone design allows you to reflect. Although the architecture and the setting could benefit from additional amenities. Some of the... More

We decided to do something different to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. Cafe Modern is part of the Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth, so we combined Sunday brunch with a tour of the museum. It wouldn't hurt to make a reservation for brunch. We used OpenTable without a problem. Ask for a table by the window overlooking the water.... More

I was a little skeptical when my friend suggested Café Modern for brunch . . . . but pleasantly surprised! The food and service were wonderful. Unfortunately, the restaurant is open for dinner on a very limited basis.

Cafe Modern is a first-class place for a meal while enjoying the wonderful museum. I was dining alone, and it was the loveliest of settings to enjoy a quiet, relaxed meal. The restaurant is set directly on the beautiful reflecting pond at the rear of the museum, so the view is spectacular: lush, rolling green lawn and a wonderful, large-scale... More

We were there for lunch with friends and everyone wanted a separate check, others had specific requests - all handled with grace and ease. We just went for lunch but would have loved to see the museum. The food was attractive and very interesting. I would go again and again if I lived in the area.

The restaurant at the Modern Museum is such a treat. The dining room is very unique looking out over the reflecting pool water feature at the museum (ask for a table by the window for the best view but be prepared to have air blowing on you throughout your meal if you are by the windows -- it's just the... The food and service were exceptional... Prices are moderate... and a fabulous view across their reflecting pool. Have a nice glass of wine and enjoy!

A wonderful surprise in the heart of the museum district in Fort Worth. Very modern, beautiful both inside and wonderful views of their contemporary water garden. The menu is a foodies delight...very unexpected in a museum café. This has to be one of the best museum cafes anywhere!

Brunch at the Cafe Modern. Be sure to get seated by the windows overlooking the museum and the lake. Gorgeous view. We started with Ginger Pickled Beets. Numerous thinly sliced beet rounds with a delicious Goat cheese and sunflower brittle (like peanut brittle). Wonderful. Wife had Modern Benedict served with large slices of ham instead of Canadian Bacon. Very Good.... More
