This is an amazing space - you need to see the building and reflecting pool

We were there for lunch with friends and everyone wanted a separate check, others had specific requests - all handled with grace and ease. We just went for lunch but would have loved to see the museum. The food was attractive and very interesting. I would go again and again if I lived in the area.

The restaurant at the Modern Museum is such a treat. The dining room is very unique looking out over the reflecting pool water feature at the museum (ask for a table by the window for the best view but be prepared to have air blowing on you throughout your meal if you are by the windows -- it's just the... The food and service were exceptional... Prices are moderate... and a fabulous view across their reflecting pool. Have a nice glass of wine and enjoy!

A wonderful surprise in the heart of the museum district in Fort Worth. Very modern, beautiful both inside and wonderful views of their contemporary water garden. The menu is a foodies delight...very unexpected in a museum café. This has to be one of the best museum cafes anywhere!

Brunch at the Cafe Modern. Be sure to get seated by the windows overlooking the museum and the lake. Gorgeous view. We started with Ginger Pickled Beets. Numerous thinly sliced beet rounds with a delicious Goat cheese and sunflower brittle (like peanut brittle). Wonderful. Wife had Modern Benedict served with large slices of ham instead of Canadian Bacon. Very Good.... More

One of the most serene dining views in the city. Upscale, innovative menu. Great tasting dishes and attentive service. A great way to take a lunch break on museum day or just wind up there after an afternoon of enjoying the masterpieces for a wonderful dinner.

Cafe Modern is my destination when I have a day off and want to treat myself. It has a unique menu, good service, and a wonderful view of the museum and its outside lake. A bit of a splurge, but well worth it.

Went here based on a friend's gushing recommendation after viewing the impressionism exhibit at the Kimbell across the street. I think they had just changed menus for the season and we had a hard time finding something we wanted which was too bad because the menu I pulled up on the internet before our visit had many items of interest....
