Very nice atmosphere and great food

Spent a long time drinking great wine and chatting before we ordered and there was no rush from the server. Enjoyed the charcuterie plate first before the crawfish crepes and then the red fish. Everything was very tasty with great service and good wine list. I would recommend

We had been wanting to eat here for a while but were nervous at the idea of trying somewhere new for a birthday or anniversary dinner. Finally tried it on a date night. The menu is unique and my soup was excellent, but there was not filet on the menu. I got some other steak option that was a lesser... More

We were in town for my birthday and selected this restraunt, arrived and had brown paper table cloths and patrons in jeans and shorts. Menu was short and not well diversified. Carbonara was over salted. Food felt forced and cliche. If you do the basics beautifully there is no need to overcomplicate it. Who "deconstructs" carrot cake. Master the basics... More

We really enjoyed our meal here. The offerings are seasonal. I had the lamb and my husband, the flounder. Both were excellent. Great wine list. Great service. Beautiful setting.

Dining at Ellerbe, even with a group as we were, returned us to the best of American cuisine, accented by farm-to-table offerings du jour. A repurposed filling station, Ellerbe's effect is now South Carolina Low Country, with a little Texas Hill Country thrown in. Its former carport for the gasoline pumps is now a curtain-festooned porte-cochère, which also serves as... More

my wife, daughter and I decided to eat lunch there after attempting lunch at the flying carpet cause they are not serving wine or beer, we were seated 14 minutes before 2 pm and when the hostess told us that the kitchen closes at 2, we should have left...that was a bad display of rudeness. bread was good.....turkey on the... This may have been "the" eating experience of the year for me. Everything, every course, was perfection. The wait staff was helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was surprisingly casual. I was expecting button-down and slacks and was met with a more polo and slacks crowd. The gentleman at our table with a suit coat was one of only a few.... More

We came across this restaurant just looking for somewhere to eat and had a great time. The food, wine and service were all exceptional and a couple of scruffy foreigners were made to feel very welcome on a busy Saturday night.

I've always enjoyed this restaurant, but we hadn't been in a while, so I decided to make reservations for Valentine's Day. Big mistake. The $75, three-course, prix fixe menu sounded good, and the first course (wild mushroom soup) was excellent, but from there things went south. My wife's "grilled flat iron steak" was tasty but consisted of three small slices.... More

Loved the mix between farm-to-table and Cajun influence. Frankly, didn't have high expectations about his restaurant since I knew nothing of it - but boy was it good. The grilled oysters wer to die for and all the dishes at our table were great. I shared a Branzini and crusted Redfish with a red bean sauce. Both were superb. Atmosphere... More
