Wonderful dinner - recommend it!

Enjoyed our steak dinner..was melt in your mouth. The only thing stopping a fifth star was the service. It went down as the night went on..the restaurant got busy and I don't think there was enough staff in for the night. We had been walking around the Main Street Arts Fair and were looking for a quiet, cool place to eat lunch. Saw the chophouse and wandered in. It was quiet but had a great view of the passing parade of people. Service was excellent and our waiter was knowledgeable about the food. I had the Chop House Burger which was... More

This restaurant was highly recommended by the hotel concierge. Should have known from the start that is would be a fail. The ambiance is typical steakhouse, with dimmed lights and linen. The waitress provided great table service and that is where it ended. She lacked even the simplest knowledge of the wine list and there was no sommelier. When I... More

Went here for our 15th wedding anniversary. Bad mistake, we had sea bass and scallops, the house special for the evening. The bass tasted like a fish market smells. The scallops were ok. The Caesar salad was right out of the grocery store pre made bag. The waiter was in a hurry and when my wife indicated she didn't want... More

I was not really impressed with this place. We went on a Friday night and the place was empty besides us and another couple of tables. The service was ok. The food, I've had way better. The steak just wasn't all the great. To me it didn't have much flavor. When you pay $35 for just a steak, you expect... More

It's a safe bet...neither the best or the worst. On the positive side, the highly personable staff is its most memorable quality. The decor and location are trendy as well. As for the food, I had a mushroom risotto that tasted like 3/4 of it was butter. Overwhelmingly rich and not in a good way. Personally, our family won't be... More

We had reservations for 8 for Christmas dinner, out of town family. We were basically ignored and stood in line for almost an hour. No apology or anything to make the wait worth it. Very little serving going on except at the bar, dirty tables were not being cleaned so others could be seated. I can't say if the food... More

Excellent steak as you would expect in Texas, but it has that little something extra. Extensive wine menu and presentation ws excellent. Waiter was more attentive to the top of the table as I think that was where they realised the tip would come from! Good for a little different menu and the martinis are amazing.
