Holy Mole !

I keep looking for that perfect Tex-Mex joint and El Asadero may be as close as they come. This time I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Mole, served with a side of rice and beans. I had family come in from out of state. I had to take them to El Asadreo's to eat. This is my favorite place to eat Mexican Food out of any Tex Mex or Mexican restaurant in the DFW area. Many times on Friday and Saturday nights people are lined out the door.

Nice little restaurant. Great food. I've been coming here a long time. Love the margaritas. If Joe T Garcia's is too crowded this is a great second choice.

Small family owned and operated Mexican restaurant just south of the Stockyards area with very good, reasonably priced authentic Mexican food. Service a little

Our best friends and us love going to the El Asadero. The hot sauce is usually very hot and delicious. Their guacamole is the best anywhere. The fajitas, both chicken and beef, are always so good and our favorite thing to eat there. I always order the French fries to go with it. I know that sounds weird, but try... More

For an inexpensive lunch or dinner and some of the best Mexican food plates you can find, El Asadero is it! Look for the little Orange Bldg. off of Main Street in Fort Worth's Northside area just south of the Historic Stockyards and Billy Bobs. The parking is limited and their alcoholic beverages just average, but the food is Outstanding!

My favorite small Mexican restaurant in Fort Worth hands down. They have the best Pork Chops I've ever eaten. The Milenesa is also outstanding. The portions are very generous and the menu is very reasonably priced. They have some of the best salsa I've ever eaten as well. I usually purchase a quart to go after dinner. Go check it... More

With all the positive reviews, I reckoned to be in for a very good to excellent meal. Didn't happen. Chips were good but the hotter than usual salsa had an aftertaste I didn't like. For the entree, I ordered the beef fajitas a la parilla. Meat was tender but too salty. Rice and refried beans were lukewarm. Rice was over... More

Upon arrival , noticed a little young girl yelling which was out of control. Another older and young female to busy face-booking and texting, I asked her If I need to wait to be seated, she said yes. then yet another young female (get the idea about family) smiles and says "just sit anywhere you like". I took a seat... More

If you want something different than the traditional Tacos and Enchiladas, this is the place to go, they do have these if you wish to order. I had the Asado de Puerco, Pork loin tips cooked in a seasoned spicy sauce, served with rice, beans and salad. My wife had the Pescado Frito, Whole Catfish Fried, served with fried potatoes,...
